Sethsgran - I would have been really annoyed if it had been damaged. He's normally really good - he must have been having an off day.

Melissa the paper bag album is fab! I loved the archaic papers when I saw them but they sold out v quick in the docrafts sale and I daren't buy anymore stuff as I've just spent over an hour trying to sort my craft stuff out and haven't got too far with it all!! (it's spread all over the lounge floor!! just as well hubby's poorly in bed!!)

Thanks for everyone's comments - I just hope she likes it now.

Rusty - at the time I had decided that I wanted to be a zoologist!!! So me and my two mates managed to get a week's work there. It was so hard, it was long hours and really tiring work. One mate had towork with the penguins - so she had to gut fish for a week. My other friend got to work in the pets corner so she got the best job. And I got put on monkeys, that meant I had to prepare their food and clean their cages. The worst one was the chimps 'cos they used to throw their poo at the walls.

I assume that put you right off wanting to be a zoologist...? ;) :rotfl:

I have bit the bullet, I purchased 2 paperbag albums off ebay earlier on tonight ... purely for research purposes though, so I can make my own after that ;)

    Hi All

have been readingthis thread with great interest as I am just starting to get into scrap-booking.

Have been pointed to a site for buying bags and wrapping by a friend and found the paper bags you have all been mentioning at what seems to be a good price - postage quite steep at £4.99 but they also do lots of tissue paper etc or you could order with a friend

    http://www.carrierbagshop.co.uk/Shop/BrownAndWhiteKraftPaperBags/Product/11771/PB-BLOCBMBR/BlockBottomBrownKraftPaperBags.aspx

Can't see any mention of it before- apologies if I have missed it.

rusty could I have a look at them when we meet up so I know what I should be doing if I ever decide to make my own?!

I started my mini album last night - I used basic grey cupcake papers and the letter stickers from the archaic set - they are fab (the stickers not my albums!!!)

Rusty - When I first decided I wanted to try a paperbag album I went mad and bought loads of paperbags. I found it so hard to put them together without a sewing machine though, they do look really easy to stitch.
Bunbun - can't wait to see your piccies.
DebH - thanks for the link and welcome to the thread.
Rainmac - thanks for your compliments, are you still coming to the show???
