Rusty - yep - they're basic grey - its the archaic range, they are great for kids or nature pics. This album was much easier to make than the last paperbag one, which took ages. The one that I made last time I had to punch holes in, but then I wanted to cover the whole page rather than leave the paper bag showing at the spine, so I had to cut separate pieces of card to cover it. This one I bought from ebay and was already stitched so I just had to stick the paper on. If you've got a sewing machine you can do it yourself (much cheaper), but I haven't. I used a 6x6 archaic pad which was just a tiny bit bigger than the album pages, and then I used the 12x12 paper pack for the matting and layering under the photos. A lot of the embellishments are from the big paper pack too (you get a 12x12 sheet of them), and the alphabet stickers come in the kit too.0

I used to go to Twycross quite often. I did some work experience there for a week - it was so hard - I got monkey poo in my eye!!0

Thanks Melissa, I knew some of the papers were basig grey as I have used some of them ones myself, namely the dinosaur one
... I do have a sewing machine, but tempted to look on ebay and maybe buy just one so I can have an idea of how they are put together for future use
Yuck at the monkey poo! however must have been amazing being able to work with all the animalsRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

What's her favourite hobby or animal or flower, maybe you could do something with that?
Oh Mary43 I know you have mentioned that you can't get into Lincoln often and I offer my services if there is anything you need to get. I go visit my Gran usually on a weekly visit and have to drive through the town centre to get to hers.*~* My life is a little mystery that I am still trying to solve*~*0 -

s_michael - thanks -thats very kind of you. At the minute I'm hoping to do a bit of shopping when we go to clear mums flat on Tuesday and Wednesday. There's a Colemans craft shop Poundland, Wilkos etc. All the shops we don't have in our little town.
I'll see how I get on when I'm down there -lot depends on how much time we have.
Don't think foster daughter has a favourite flower apart from a lily and I haven't got anything like that to stick on it. I might 'google' and see what I find. Thats a good idea............hadn't thought of that. Didn't feel an embelishment that stuck out too much would be right somehow. The papers are shades of rusts and greens so it needs to blend in.Mary

Thanks for everyone's comments - I just hope she likes it now.
Rusty - at the time I had decided that I wanted to be a zoologist!!! So me and my two mates managed to get a week's work there. It was so hard, it was long hours and really tiring work. One mate had towork with the penguins - so she had to gut fish for a week. My other friend got to work in the pets corner so she got the best job. And I got put on monkeys, that meant I had to prepare their food and clean their cages. The worst one was the chimps 'cos they used to throw their poo at the walls.0 -
Just had my order from the glitter pot delivered - how late is the post?? Only the stupid postman folded that parcel in half to put it through the letterbox - how dare he!! I wouldn't have minded but I was in, so he could have knocked, thankfully they're not damaged!
I had exactly the same problem with my order from glitter pot. Obviously not their fault as it was well packaged and labeled DO NOT BEND. Like you my things were ok but so annoying. I too was in and it was about 10.30am so not like postman didn't want to wake me too early.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0
