Hello all - am in need of some inspiration.......
I'm putting together a layout for my trip to see Hamlet in Stratfrod last Summer (finally got hold of some production postcards and need to get them mounted and under plastic before I drool so much on the postcards of Mr Tennant that it goes soggy)
So the layout is quite plain to refelct the production. Kind of slate grey with some industrial type paers as accents. I wanted to put something on there to reference the mirrors that were a majot part of the stage but am unsure how to do it.
Ideally I's like to make a rectangular mirror with a bullet hole in the middle and cracks around it. Does anyone have any ideas?
Cheers!0 -

Sorry just breifly read your post ... not sure if you can still get the perspex mirrors you sometimes see sequinned mirrors etc? that could be a good one if you know what they are called or where to get them from? Failing that find some really cheap tacky kids toy (maybe a brish and mirror set from the £ shop) and steal the mirror out of that? (I did a quick search on ebay ... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SAFETY-MIRROR-3MM-ACRYLIC-PERSPEX-SHEET-210-X-297MM-A4_W0QQitemZ390029945134QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item390029945134&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72:1229|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318 )Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

I've done it !!!!!!!:j :j :j
Well nearly...................lol Sorted out all my papers and started on one ofr the little 3 x 3 books, went for a sort of brown/beige theme......(oh hark at me sounding like she knows what she's doing............lol)
Managed to use up a lot of oddments, each page is different and I found an embellishment to go on the front -trouble is its got a flower on it -not sure my son would want that so might look for something else. Then I found some copper peal offs that say, Believe, Inspire and Create so they'll go on a page each...........only six pages altogether. Put a thin suede ribbon down the spine part and a brown one with white stitching down the front. Managed to make the brown suede one long enough so it'll go into the book as a sort of book mark if you know what I mean................so I'm quite pleased with myself :T
Managed it all with pritt stick as wellMary

Mary - can't wait to see your creation.
I came across this site there's some great ideas for making mini books, calendars, things to do with paper bags:

melissa - thanks for the link -some good ideas on there.
Sorry - can't put piccys on as I don't have all that hi-tech stuff so you'll have to used your imagination (as wild as possible.........lol) to visualise it.
Having looked at that site and had another look at rainmacs mine looks a bit 'plain'...........have to have a scout round for some bits to pop on it I thinkMary
