Just looking at your blog and noticed that you were at the UKS CC. Hope you had a great time. Wish I had bought the Artbase kit. Yours looks great, would have liked to have done my own but with the 2 little ones running around only got around to doing 2 LO's. Would have been ideal for all my snow pictures I took last Monday.January Grocery 11/3740 -
Mel.. Shuddup your work is gorgeous..End. OF!
mumofjusttwo Thanks for checking out my work and your kindnessI didn't buy the kit from Artbase but really liked the class so I made a template by folding a 6x6 square diagonally, cutting out a shape and then opening it up and drawing around it in each corner of my cardstock. That sounds confusing.. err sorry!! LOL I only managed to complete two classes in the end as I have two toddlers and I missed them too much!!

I popped into the local craft shop this morning ... to find she is closing down ... another one bites the dust leaving only one tiny one locally ... however she told me they were also closing down soon
I stopped using the local one as much as some of her things were so expensive and I could get cheaper elsewhere ... picked up a couple of 12x12 papers and some stickers want to make OH a scrap book page, plus it will keep me busy for 10 mins!

My scrap book type books came this morning -only ordered them yesterday afternoon ! :T They look ok......only problem is as they're ready made chipboard books if I put 3D embellishments on the inside they won't close -still I got them for quote really and can stick a few bits on them that aren't 3D.Mary

bunbun - found a few quotes but think I'll have to mix them with mum/son, friendship and life in general.
Might do garden quotes for foster daughter as I'm doing her a garden hamper for her birthday in March,
Two of the books are only 3" x 3" but just right for my sons....(can use a lot of my odd bits of paper up)....I can do a bit more with foster daughters as its 6" x 6" and she'd appreciate a bit more decoration I think.
Did think about doing music quotes for one son as he''s very musical and maybe artistic ones for the other.............might see what comes up and pick the best of what I can find.
hels - can't wait to start................might have a play around tomorrow.
I'm assuming pritt stick is ok for sticking paper onto chipboard ? Is it ?
pinkladymel - gobsmacked I am.........you're so clever:TMary

I wou,ld probably suggest eith double sided tape to stick paper onto paper tomake sure that it doesn't undo at a later date.
Possibly you could use PVA glue but can be messy.January Grocery 11/3740 -

My chipboard book doesn't close properly because I used 3D bits and bobs, I like it and think it adds to the 'handmade' feel of the book.
Can't believe your books came so quickly! Bet you can't wait to get started!!! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
