paddington - where are you then ? I thought everywhere up here was clear till taxi driver came to collect our lad and he'd been to Stamford and said it was dreadful all down that way and Lincoln. Due for another lot Sunday - hope it doesn;t last. Been a weird week.......I've lost track what day it is with kids being off school all week
I'm in North Lincs about 2 miles away from the Humber bridge. We couldn't get out of the village on Monday without going through S!!!!horpe as the hill on the Humber bank was closed. I hate the stuff - fortunately DD's school has been open all weekOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I've just bought myself a set of 3 Fiskars eyelet punches and setters and have absolutely no idea how to use them.
Unfortunately I can't see youtube on my laptop so can't even watch a video - it says press down and hold one side and the hammer action will do the rest - how? which side?
Can anyone give me a muppets guide how to do it?
I have this set - eBay bargain!Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I am ewatching thew video now.
To set hole-Grasp the purple grip with one hand and press down. Pull grey bit (no more than 5cm high)with the other hand and then release the grey part.
To set the eyelet- turn the setter up the other way and do in reverse. Hold grey base then pull on the purple part.
Hope this makes sense as I don't have one I have the cropodile.January Grocery 11/3740 -

Thanks ever so much you're a complete star!! - I wanted a crop-o-dile but couldn't justify the expense as I've spent so much already this month and my birthday's not until OctoberOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

I know what you mean. I got mine a while ago now and there wasn't much in stores that was quiet and I had a small baby so the cropodile worked out well.
Had a little s[pend at docraft with some Christmas money so guess I won't be spending much until my birthday, if I am lucky.January Grocery 11/3740 -
melissa - thanks for those links. Might well be worth a go. I'll have a proper look at the whole site tomorrow.:j
paddington - you're further north than me. Our main roads through to Lincoln were awful -bus took 3 hours to get there so someone told me -normally its 3/4 an hour.............must confess to not being a fan of the white stuff,Mary

Rainmac - I love those mother/son quotes - everyone goes on about the relationship that a mother has with their daughter, but I love my sons and I wouldn't change their farting and fighting for anything.
Ditto melissa:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
