rainmac - thanks for that. OH has gone into town and said he'll pop in the craft shop and see if they've got one. If they have it'll be more than £1.99 but I won't have delivery charges so hopefully it'll balance out.

Been struggling for Mother/son quotes.............plenty of Mother ones, Father/son and family but my sons dad died when he was a baby and I really wanted mum/son ones.
One for foster daughter is easier as I can base that on friendship with a bit of family thrown in - thought that would be the harder one.

Hope he gets it -I've been re-called for further examination following my mammgrame so needless to say I'm all of a doo-dah...........as mum would say and could do with something to do that I'll get pleasure from if you know what I mean

Ooohhh mary, been through all of that with my mum in the last few months. They recall at least 1 in 20 women so the laws of probability tell you things should be fine but it doesn't stop us from worrying does it? The latest on my mum is that she was told by her hospital that she would need a mastectomy but they sent her tissue to another hospital to be double-checked by a specialist. Her sample has been checked by 2 specialists and they are of the opinion that no further surgery is needed. She was told this on the phone today by a nurse. She was supposed to see the surgeon today to discuss things properly but due to the snow neither can get to the hospital so she'll need to wait until next week to see him. My mum doesn't know whether to believe the news. Roll on next week when she can get herself a bit more sorted with what happens next. Take care mary and come and talk to us if you want to, some of us (ok, speaking about me ;)) talk a lot of rubbish but we're all really nice :D

Some son quotes here (need to pick through as several about fathers)...

I like this quote... "Of all the animals, the boy is the most unmanageable" Plato and this one "There has never been, nor will there ever be, anything quite so special as the love between a mother and a son" - author unknown.

    Take care x

rainmac -thanks - nearly didn't mention it -you've had enough with your Mum - but couldn't keep my mouth shut could I. I wondered how she was getting on. Does seem to take the men in white coats such a time to decide one thing or another - if only they could do the tests and tell us there and then the results it would take away the 'waiting/worrying' time. Hope everythings ok for her. I'm sure it will be. Keep thinking positive.

Thanks for the quotes..........they're perfect !!:T
Right, off to check out those links

rainmac - thanks - always good to know there's someone there.

Well, OH came back with no scrapbook:confused: the girl in the shop said she'd ordered them and they hadn't come.............so, I rang Colemans to see if they'd got one and they're ringing me back tomorrow. No-one in the store due to the weather down there. You must have it worse than us today. We're almost clear but south of the county is very bad again.

Still, plenty more I can do, Easter stuff for a start else it'll never get done, plus mums mothers day card.............if I can put my mind to it. Didn't help today with our lad having a tantrum before he went off to his mums:eek: Still, should have a quiet weekend.
OH currently busy with Henry the Hoover.................lol

Mary - shame they had no little scrapbooks in for you. If I see anything for cheap enough I'll let you know. Good luck with everything, I'm sure it will all be fine.
Rainmac - I love those mother/son quotes - everyone goes on about the relationship that a mother has with their daughter, but I love my sons and I wouldn't change their farting and fighting for anything.

melissa - thanks. Hopefully Colemans will have some & fingers crossed they won't be too dear, even with delivery.

I love quote of any sort but gave my son a 'pick 'n mix'' tin at christmas with quotes and sweets of all sorts so really want to stick to the mother/son theme unless I come across some really good ones that he won't have read.
Course, some of the father/son ones could always be altered.

Mary/everyone - this site is having a free postage offer on this weekend, and with each order you get a free set of snowflake stickers. I found this album for you Mary, its bigger than Rainmac's and its the sort where the album has the clear pockets and you put the pages in. But I though it might be a good size to start off with.

Its only 2.48 and it looks like even spending this little you still qualify for the free postage. A lot of their other stuff seems expensive, but they have a few stickers in their sale. Their 6x6 and 8x8 albums seem quite cheap too. The other thing they had was copies of those bobunny albums - the word ones that are normally 6 or 7 quid. They have a baby and a love one for 2.50, and some others for 4 quid:
