Scrapbooking thread

Hiya everyone

I'm new to scrapbooking but i have been asked to created a 'journaling envelope, i have never heard of one and i have no idea how to decorate it...

does anyone have any ideas on how i could decorate this??
I know i have to incorporate an the person initial.. Thank you everyone in advance

if you scroll down the left hand side there's ''paper bag journals/albums'' if that helps. They do look interesting........not sure I want to tackle on just yet though

Sorry, not sure what one of these is either . All I can think is it's an envelope that is decorated and can be attached to a scrapbook page tp hold notes/journalling by the scrapbooker relating to the topic on the page...? If that's the case the address side of the envelope would be stuck to the page so would only need to decorate the flap side. Does that help? No, I know, not really becasue I don't know what I'm on about :rolleyes:

Hi and thanks for your suggestions. I'll give t some more thought. I'm not normally so picky about these things but everything has to be perfect for the doctor!:o

rainmac - I've loved doing it - haven't finished yet - well I have but not put the quotes in. Changed my mind about the piccy to go on the front and found a guitar picture that I've stuck on some thicker card so it stands out a bit - this one will be for 'musical' son now and not 'artistic' one............lol
Started going through some flowery papers to do a 'garden quotes' (thats the bigger book) one but they're all a bit on the purple side so not sure. Then I thought I'd do black and white but that wasn't right either

Then the phone rang and it was the hospital - can I go for my biopsy tomorrow morning :eek: Quick panic about how quick this was then the nurse said its only because the radiologist is on holiday next week and he can fit me in tomorrow -then realised its Friday 13th :eek: Oh well, I've a son with a birthday on 13th August -never made any difference to him.
I get the results next Wednesday:eek:

Enough blabber - completely gone off stick paper with glue now ...........lol

So glad you're enjoying making the book. I love the idea of a garden one, could you use the purple papers and add some touches of green - ribbon, buttons etc? Sounds lovely.

I hadnt even thought of ribbon..............lol By then my head was going round so it was best to put the whole lot away rather than make a mess of it.
Loving doing it ...........not as good as yours though.........lool
