Went into town this morning and got some more embellishments -well flowers - for my scrapbooks.......daft me..........I got some brown shades and some green and they'll be ok for the next one as the paper is mostly green but the one I'm about to finish is in shades of a sort of blue/grey..............:(
So, back to the craft shop on Thursday.............:rotfl:

    Hiya,

I'm not sure if this is of use to anyone, but i found some scrapbooks today in home bargains for £2.99 each. They are really good quality, the type you see go for £15-£20 in craft shops. They don't have plastic wallet type pages, they are just a thick brown/natural paper on a ringbinder. The front and back are really sturdy and are also a natural/brown colour (i'm not making it sound very nice but really they are! and good for personalising) and they have a small square 'window' in the front. I think they are designed for 12x12 papers. Hope this helps someone.x

I'm making several scrapbooks for my mum at the minute. (Some she knows about, some she doesnt!). I'm making one with tips and things to help her relax. Does anyone have any ideas for what to include? I want it to be about 20 pages in total (nothing too large) but I'm just looking for general ideas at the minute. Hopefully start it in the next few weeks!

I've just had a look and can't find any proper hello kitty paper, but as alys says there are loads of bits and peices on ebay. Stickers, buttons, ribbon etc. There are also lots of pretty hello kitty wrapping papers, could you utilise those in any way?

anne - thanks for the scrapbook link -sadly no Home Bargains anywhere near me:(
Did get some paper 12 x 12 from Boyes yesterday before OH went to hospital. It was £5.99 for pack of 30 sheets............brilliant I thought and good quality.
Managed to find some alphabets in a charity shop and cut outs for frames .........all the right colour for the paper which was lucky.
Just need more ink now to copy my photos and get on with it
