Have tried searching MSE for this but could only find info from 2004 & I know there will have been changes since then, hopefully someone will know the answer to this -
I have clubcard account merged with OH. Two DS also have their own accounts (stay at same address as us). When we get vouchers for extra points etc sent via mailings, can we use them with any of our cards ( eg could I use voucher with son's name with my clubcard ) or would I have to phone up and link their accounts with ours? We all have same surname. It would make it easier as we could all save together but wouldn't merging mean there would be fewer mailings with offers?
If I wanted to add some of our vouchers to my son's for a deal token, would it be possible to add a mix of the two and get one lot of deal vouchers if the accounts haven't been officially merged?
I've looked at the terms & conditions on the site & it says "Tesco Clubcard Points and Vouchers cannot be transferred, sold or in any way traded. They may only be pooled by members with the same postal address." It's just I'm not sure if I have to officially merge the accounts to pool them!

You can certainly use any vouchers with any club cards. My OH and I who have different surnames get seperate mailings but I use all the vouchers on my clubcard, I do have his clubcard with me every time though just incase they ask for it but they never have.

Can't help you with the deals question as I collect to convert to airmiles, think this question has been asked before so do a some searches. Also I have read much about deals on paidtoshop so take a look over there.

Have searched but can't find the answer to this.

I want to use my clubcard vouchers for a magazine subscription, costing £12.03 worth of vouchers.

I have vouchers for £3, £4, £4, £4.50 and £6, which go out of date in that order.

Do I get 'change' for over-payment with vouchers (points credited to my account or something?) or is any overpayment lost? I.e. am I best to spend the £4, £4, £4.50 and sacrifice 47p of points?

    Thanks

Any unused amounts are credited back to your clubcard account

    Thanks.

I tried to add the £3 voucher first, but it worked out that the £4, £4, £4.50 were sufficient and took the £3 off the order.

Will have to remember to use that one up before it expires...

  • hi, it seems to go up in multiples of £10 deal, so you could do it the way you suggested, or if you have extra vouchers and don't mind not getting change you could ask for £40 deals for the zoo and £50 for the tower - your way is probably best though :D

Be careful. You only get change when converting clubcard points into deals, eg £12.00 voucher will give you £45(4x£11.25) in deals and 75p credited back to your clubcard. If you use a cludcard deal voucher larger than the ticket cost of the item you DO NOT get change credited back to your clubcard.

    NO

If you want online coupons instead of store coupons you have to change your preferences online, then your coupons will have online codes.

We have had a statement from Tesco showing that we are on the Christmas Saver scheme.

Am I right in thinking that we don't really want to be doing that as the points are worth more if taken in other ways?

If so, how do we get off the saver scheme?

    Thanks.

You definately do not want to be in the Christmas Saving Scheme if you want to get the best out of your vouchers.

Remember, Clubcard Vouchers are only worth face value when used in store - but are worth 4 x their value if used for Deals! Some of which could maybe make great gifts for Christmas instead!

You may need to check with Customer Services about getting out of it, but I daresay you'll just need to call Tesco Personal Finance and change your preferences.

Has anyone used tesco mobile phones?

I've got to renew my contact beginning of November but considering going through tesco - do you get points for a monthly contract? Eg Orange £30/month, do you get 30 points/month?

Also, they ask for your debit/credit card info - I guess this is for security and nothing comes out, but has anyone had any problems with money being taken in error?

The price is the same as a going direct to the network, so might as well get the tesco points:T

    Any help appreciated:beer:
