£5 in vouchers gives you a £20 deal token. You don't get change, so work out how much it will cost your family at each attraction, and order as close as possible to the correct amount in deals, but separately so they come in the correct amounts, rather than say 5x£20 when you really need £50 for each attraction.
Excellent, Thanks for that!!!:D
Just to clarify, It will cost £36.50 cash (for whole family) to go to zoo, in tokens that would be £7.50 deals token + £6.50 cash, is that right? And for tower, £45.00 (family) so £10 deals token and £5 cash??
Thanks again :-)

Cathj I guess you already know the answer to your first point, just to add though that if you get your clubcard + set up right you can check the balance online and at a cashpoint.
To answer your second point I believe you can use it on tesco direct just enter the card number and other details requested as if your were using any card. I haven't done it myself but have used it to pay for tesco groceries online and it was fine.
Thanks, the money was on the card the day after the dd went out of my dh bank account, which was great as it meant I was able to use that money for the rest of my kids school uniform.
As for the contacts it would seem you can't use it. Direct and Groceries you don't have to choose which card type you are using. In the opticians store you have to choose the card type and there is no option for cc+. I tried selecting a different card type and entering the cc+ details but it didn't like that. Oh well I will get them in store.0 -
Probably a really stupid basic question here but I can't find the answer anywhere on the Tescos website. When you've done your shooping at Tescos how many days does it take for those points to be credited to your account?
I had some shopping delivered on Wednesday and I've yet to receive the points for it (think I had a 1000 extra points code that might of worked so I'm dying to know!).
Does anyone know the time scale involved for points getting added onto your account?1st Aim = Pay off Virgin CC - £3929.110 -

I think it can be instant up to 48 hrs for normal points. But, the extra points codes (like the 1000 ones) can take a few days to appear onto you account. HTH0 -
Ok bit concerned then because my 150+ points just for my shopping hasn't even appeared on there yet!1st Aim = Pay off Virgin CC - £3929.110

I'm not sure - they will probably appear over the weekend - I would not be anxious until then. I dont really check my points that often online - maybe I should :rotfl:!
If no sign of them by Monday then you could contact clubcard CS. Where they your points codes personally or forum posted ones?0 -

I've got another 1000 point one coming that I used today that got posted to me for Tescos Direct so hopefully I'll be raking in the points this quarter!:D
If it showed the points on your receipt then they should definitely show up on your balance within a few days. Just sent you a pm!0 -

hi, it seems to go up in multiples of £10 deal, so you could do it the way you suggested, or if you have extra vouchers and don't mind not getting change you could ask for £40 deals for the zoo and £50 for the tower - your way is probably best though'bad mothers club' member 13

Have tried searching MSE for this but could only find info from 2004 & I know there will have been changes since then, hopefully someone will know the answer to this -
I have clubcard account merged with OH. Two DS also have their own accounts (stay at same address as us). When we get vouchers for extra points etc sent via mailings, can we use them with any of our cards ( eg could I use voucher with son's name with my clubcard ) or would I have to phone up and link their accounts with ours? We all have same surname. It would make it easier as we could all save together but wouldn't merging mean there would be fewer mailings with offers?
If I wanted to add some of our vouchers to my son's for a deal token, would it be possible to add a mix of the two and get one lot of deal vouchers if the accounts haven't been officially merged?
I've looked at the terms & conditions on the site & it says "Tesco Clubcard Points and Vouchers cannot be transferred, sold or in any way traded. They may only be pooled by members with the same postal address." It's just I'm not sure if I have to officially merge the accounts to pool them!0
