A quick question about collecting points - I have a Tesco credit card which collects points on spend for our Clubcard account and my wife has a seperate Clubcard which we swipe to collect points. Both accounts are linked in terms of collecting the Clubcard points.
If I pay for something in Tescos using my Tesco credit card and swipe the wife's Clubcard for the points, does that mean we will get double points into the one combined Clubcard account?0 -

The credit card becomes a clubcard in its own right and would overide the other clubcard used.0 -
Hello all,
Recently converted some vouchers into deals tokens (for my dad - we both have the same surname), he was going on a trip to London so I ordered them from the days out section. Now I had intended for him to use them on the 'bus tour' but he didn't know how to exchange them once he was in London and so payed cash for the tour and came home with the vouchers:rolleyes:.
I was going to return them for an exchange for the restaurant vouchers (he'd be ok using these) but looking at them the vouchers are identical to restaurant vouchers I've had before apart from the additional text advising that the vouchers cannot be use to pay for drinks and promotional menus etc. Has anyone used such vouchers before and would it be safe to say they'd be accepted - last thing I want to do is cause him embarrasment!!!
Any answers on this one?0 -
Any answers on this one?
Hi,
Just had a look on the Tesco deals website, and the codes are different for the days out tokens compared to the restaurant tokens. However, I'm sure I've read on this thread before of people using days out tokens for meals and vice-versa.
At the end of the day, I'm not sure how closely they look at the codes when you pay with them.
I would say go for it and try it, show the vouchers to the waiting staff before you order and all should be fine.
For future reference, when using the sightseeing bus tours, you just hand the tokens over to the conductor as you would cash or any other payment method it's as simple as that!

Cathj I guess you already know the answer to your first point, just to add though that if you get your clubcard + set up right you can check the balance online and at a cashpoint.
To answer your second point I believe you can use it on tesco direct just enter the card number and other details requested as if your were using any card. I haven't done it myself but have used it to pay for tesco groceries online and it was fine.0 -
I'm sure everyone else knows the answer to this, but is it possible to use money off coupons when buying groceries online with Tesco - could I give the vouchers to the delivery man or something? I mean coupons not issued by Tesco themselves.ilovefreegle.org - give it away don't throw it away0

Hi,
I've just had my quarterly statement - usually they send vouchers to use in store ie; 25 extra points WYB fruit,or veg, etc. This time they are for 25 PENCE off when you spend a pound on Fruit, veg,etc
Does anyone know why this is ? Is this happening to everyone ?
Thanks
Anne
I was going to ask the very same question. I'm going to miss out on a lot of points, which I convert to AirMiles!
No "double points on your entire shop" either, which I used to get on the wine club, healthy eating, etc.

I need some help - I have never used my vouchers before, just stored them all up. Im off to Blackpool in oct for school hols, I want to use my vouchers for things recommended on here but not sure how It works with Tower and Zoo. The pleasure beach is easy, I can exchange the voucher price for tickets but im not sure on the other two - Do I just take my (statement) vouchers and exchange on the door or will I need to order on deals site. hi, you need deals vouchers. the days out ones for each of them http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/browse.aspx?N=4294967294
£5 in vouchers gives you a £20 deal token. You don't get change, so work out how much it will cost your family at each attraction, and order as close as possible to the correct amount in deals, but separately so they come in the correct amounts, rather than say 5x£20 when you really need £50 for each attraction.'bad mothers club' member 13
