Haven't tried it myself, but others have had them accepted

    worth a try :)

I can confirm regardless of what the staff members say, they are completely valid until otherwise, when the terms and conditions on the back say that they exclude all petrols.

I used one today but have spoken to people high up in Tesco.

Please could someone help me with tesco vouchers/points. I am new to tesco just got my clubcard through this week, I never shop there but i have been reading on here about the deals etc and as I want to take my 2 grandchildren to Florida in 2010 I am going to save point/vouchers to help a little but i have no idea on what is what!!! Could someone explain to me about points/vouchers. I do know that if i start to shop at tesco ( i will be doing it online) i can put in codes which i see on here to get extra points but what happens when I have built up a lot of points and want to use them towards a holiday??? How does it work? Sorry if I seem a bit simple but everyone on here seems really clued up on points etc and i feel really out of it. Are there some do's and dont's are there extra ways of getting points. If i buy vouchers off ebay how will this work how do i get them on my points??

    Hope someone can help x
Every 3 months tesco send you clubcard vouchers related to your points collected. Every 100 points = £1.00 voucher, these can be used instore or online, they have a code. When you want to purchase a clubcard deal, the voucher codes are inputted to pay for the deal online. Check the points threads as they are great for getting extra points or money off Tesco. I believe clubcard vouchers off ebay will not be able to be used for clubcard deals as they are account specific, but I may be wrong.

    Hi,

I just have a question about clubcard plus. I have applied for one and just wanted to know if you get sent a cc statement for that too - with its own vouchers? I mean as well as my normal clubcard.
  • Hi,

You do get a Clubcard statement monthly - but this only shows the transactions on your account.

You don't get sent vouchers seperately for Clubcard Plus - assuming you only have the one account, your old Clubcard may have been merged into your Clubcard Plus account so you will only receive one set of vouchers - you can use your Clubcard plus card as a Clubcard as well as a payment card so you can probably just ditch your normal card (as long as the accounts have been merged!!!)

Does that make it any clearer?? Dunno if I've confused myself now :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Does anyone happen to know if you are best to convert to BA miles or to Airmiles, assuming that you wanted to go on a BA flight? I will try to calculate this on the two sites, but just thought someone may know and be able to save me this job!
    Thanks

Hi, I was hoping somebody might know the answers to a couple of questions I have about clubcard +.

Does anyone know once your dd goes out how long it takes to reach your card? Our first dd is due out on the 1st (tomorrow) and I still need to get the kids some things for school, what are the chances that the money will be available on the club card plus on the 1st or 2nd September? Plus we need to actually eat, we have had the money for the dd to one side since dh got paid, and it has been a really tight month.

Also are the double points only for spending instore? I need to get some new contact lenses which I usually order from Tesco online. Can I use the clubcard plus to pay for them and get double points? I can't actually see an option to use clubcard + to pay for contact lenses. I am thinking though that if I can't use it on the website I just could order them instore and the the cc+ there. I would rather try and use the money we have already put on to the card.

tia if aybody knows the answer to these questions.

It sounds like somewhere a long the lines your account is not properly registered - either way call this freephone clubcard helpline
    0800 591 688. It's open 9am-8pm Mon-Fri, and tell them the problem.

I know of people with cancelled clubcards who have given them over at checkouts and they have scanned ok - but actually the account tecnically no longer exists - so unfortunately just because it scans does not guarantee it is an active account. Press your point that you have been using your account and with any luck they will accrue any points owed
    .;)

A quick question about collecting points - I have a Tesco credit card which collects points on spend for our Clubcard account and my wife has a seperate Clubcard which we swipe to collect points. Both accounts are linked in terms of collecting the Clubcard points.

If I pay for something in Tescos using my Tesco credit card and swipe the wife's Clubcard for the points, does that mean we will get double points into the one combined Clubcard account?

    Hello all,

Recently converted some vouchers into deals tokens (for my dad - we both have the same surname), he was going on a trip to London so I ordered them from the days out section. Now I had intended for him to use them on the 'bus tour' but he didn't know how to exchange them once he was in London and so payed cash for the tour and came home with the vouchers:rolleyes:.

I was going to return them for an exchange for the restaurant vouchers (he'd be ok using these) but looking at them the vouchers are identical to restaurant vouchers I've had before apart from the additional text advising that the vouchers cannot be use to pay for drinks and promotional menus etc. Has anyone used such vouchers before and would it be safe to say they'd be accepted - last thing I want to do is cause him embarrasment!!!
