    Hello everyone
Queenie, how do you do it all, remembering everything about everyone! You are wonderful!
PP: Have a great time at the cinema.

I have been out this morning, had to drop DS off as he is on a day out with Boys Brigade. Wow! 2 days to myself in a row!!! As we home educate him, it is a very rare occurance to even have 1 day alone, so 2 is a real bonus! (Please don't think I don't like his company, cos I do, but it is still nice to have some time to do things by myself for a change)
Went to the farmer's market, and got some veggies. My favourite is a whole stick (is that the right word?) of brussels sprouts, with the top on as well - so lots of greens. Also got some "real" carrots and a lovely cauli, as well as a butternut squash and some garlic. I think I will try planting half the garlic to see what happens, it was only 10p so won't be a large financial loss if it doesn't grow ok.
I can't work out whether it is going to stay dry enough for long enough to dry a load of washing. It's pretty windy, so may work.
Well I'm off to try now. Then I really must get on with that ironing..................

Doing the washing is now out of the question as the kids have pinched the clothes horse to make a tent :(

Well I'm sure there's plenty of other things you can be getting on with. Don't let me keep you.

Oh, Queenie - cheers, I did get a good sleep, thanks. Dreamed about James Martin last nght - me and him doing 'Come Dancing' :D You should have seen us doing the Rhumba :rotfl:

    Shhhh - don't tell CQ

    <cough> <cough> :naughty::p

I was just scrolling through this thread whilst on the phone to Tesco finance dept when my darling James's name leapt out at me and I suddenly burst out laughing at what you wrote :rotfl:

Poor guy on the other end must have thought ... "oi oi we got a right one here!" ... as I quickly tried to regain my composure and carry on the conversation :o

Sooooo ... was he any good then? :D

I keep missing the first part of the programme so have yet to actually see him dance properly! You do realise that the only reason I'm actually entertaining watching any Strictly Dancing or whatever it's called is down to him being in it dontcha ;)

I didn't like what he did to his hair last week though, didn't suit him, although I realise it was part of the "costume" for the dance.

Does anybody know where MATH is, his posts always make me giggle and I've not seen any for a while.

He'll be away at his holiday home this week as it's half term. I did spot a couple of posts from him yesterday so he must have been using the local library ;)

I love reading his posts too, always makes me laugh! :D

    Queenie

It is nice to have you back and the fruit cake turned out very nice in the BM- it never really rises but it tastes OK.

Need to do ironing and have just hung out a load of washing but it looks like rain!

Has a spat with DD and feel really fed up. If I had anywhere nice to go I would run away from home!

Came on here to cheer myself up.

Just looked out of window and rain is belting down!

Raced outside and pulled all the stuff off the line - soaked now but it has helped break through the sulk I was in.

Big Hug to everyone and sorrry to moan!

Can I come with you? ;)

Must be something in the air as I flipped out last night too and had an argument with DS which culminated in me telling him to go live with his dad if he wasn't happy with things here :o:(

I feel so bad about saying that and it's so out of character for us to argue with each other like that. All over a bag of rubbish that was in my way in the kitchen as I was trying to clean up and I asked him to take it downstairs, but he was too busy playing on his PC. I don't know what's wrong with me lately but I just keep snapping and can't seem to cope with even the little things that I don't normally think twice about

Ah well, let's see what today brings and hopefully I can get myself a bit more organised. Hope everyone else has a lovely day
