OS Old Style
BM Bread maker
WM Washing Machine
Spent last night clearing up after having 3 extra in the household over the weekend. We dashed out to work yesterday morning leaving airbeds up and pots in the sink. Nice to have the house straight again. I'd taken some pork and chive sausages out of the freezer but not used them, so last night I turned them into a large pork casserole and bobbed them in the freezer for another day. We had a lovely shoulder of pork on Sunday - we'll be having cold pork for days there was so much left over!
Have a lovely OS day everyoneEnjoying an MSE OS life0 -
ahhhh, makes a bit more sense now!!!
not an early bird, i'm a late bird.... still at work!! (grr)0 -
Morning everyone
It's been a while since I posted - for some bizarre reason I decided to log out of the forums, then instantly remembered I didn't know my password to get back. Smart huh!? The MSE techies were very kind and let me back in.
Anyways, I've only had about two hours sleep...woke up needing the loo and couldn't get back to the land of nod, think it was something to do with the sound of wind and rain lashing my bedroom window. I'm on a 12 hour shift today at work, so I expect I'll sleep well tonight.
The DW is on, it has a timer so I can set it to start at 6.00 am or so, and it'll be done by the time I get up - pointless today but usually it's a good idea, especially at weekends.
My trip to Brighton last weekend went extra well, am all fired up about going to university. Currently I'm thinking of a degree in midwifery.
The house is a tip at the moment, I have been doing an essay all weekend, was still working on it at 2.00 am Monday, got up at 6.30 am yesterday to add to it and finally printed it yesterday 15 minutes before it was due in. I am doing a course in Sociology & Psychology - it's very interesting, though I had forgotten how long essays take to put together.
Has anybody seen Ancasta lately? She used to be one of the first saying good morning, maybe I have just missed her posts or something.
Just an hour or so and I will be off to work, am going to have a lie down for a little while and read, no pesky housework for me when it's still not dawn yet thank you!
Bye all, have a wonderful Tuesday.0 -

Mornin!!
Queenie - I started sanding the table last night! Its going to take longer than I thought, but is coming up brilliantly!! Im pleased with my progress so far. Ive hit a wall with the quilting though, I havent done any in a while and need to get back on with that, but I doubt my xmas finish is possible now (im still hand sewing!)
Anyhoo - work again today and I dont want to go, yesterday was a mountain of problems and there are loads of staffaway on training today so im pretty sure that there will be compliants and it will be a long day. At least ive got a bit of holiday coming up in November, a couple of days to sit on my bum! (holiday confirmed yesterday...)
I dont really know if there is anything to say now, I havent decided what dinner will be tonight so I'll post again later. I just checked online banking and its not pretty!!

Queenie. It was great great to have her at home and she has slept all night. Fingers crossed she's going to get a little bit better everyday. Thank you so much for caring.
Only O/S today will be washing with vinegar instead of fabric conditioner
Have a good day everyone
Thank you for all the good wishes for my DD everyone.

Morning everyone!:hello:
Had a bad nights sleep last night. DS2 not too well in night with a cold/cough, so we were up 2-3 times with him - it always happens when I decide to have an EARLY NIGHT!!!
Am showered but not dressed yet. Meeting up with a friend & her DD today, don't know what we'll be doing yet but weather is rubbish!
Really need to do some housework (I kinda neglected to do it at the weekend) but can't really be bothered! Terrible aren't I!!!!! Will probably run the vacuum round before I go out. Have a load of washing ready to go in the machine & DW is finished, just needs unloading!
Hope everyone has a good day!! :wave:20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100
