Had to think about that one for a sec :)

CQ - feet up and slob out - as long as you can still reach your keyboard from that position :D Can't you tell DS to make his mind up by say 3pm so at least you know where you are.

Either that or you can come and help me decorate my kitchen......

I could do with a magic wand and a housework fairy right now, but couldn't we all ;)

Thanks for the support guys, at least I have a smile on my face now :T :D

It's ok having these "lazy" days but they're becoming all too frequent lately and I'm getting further and further behind with things :o

Ah well, what's the worst that can happen if the washing up sits there a bit longer and the dusting and hoovering doesn't get done

There's plenty of take-aways around so we certainly won't go hungry ;) :rotfl:

  • Hi All, :hello:
Well its the first day of my week off and its raining!
Not much OS'ing for me today.
Yesterday we took DD's and 4 of DD2's friends to cadbury World for the afternoon as her 7th birthday treat, (hence the chocolate buttons I am eating whilst I type) then on to McDonalds for tea, then dropped them all off home, covered in chocolate! :j
Isnt it funny how other peoples kids say to you - "Im only allowed to drink water or milk" then you ask them a bit later on would they like a drink and their eyes light up and they say "coke please" LOL Im sure some mums were disgusted that their offspring had been eating chocolate, drinking coke and - horror of horrors! been to McDonalds. Never mind you are only 7 once and all seemed to have a good time, although OH and I collapsed in a heap after. :p

Today DD1's friend is here, sometimes I think Id love to be 9 all over again, its such a lovely age to be.
Bike riding and roller skating went out the window due to rain, so they have been playing with Barbies/Bratz/Annabells, disco dancing (to Barbie Summer Hits) practising gymnastics and standing on their heads, now they are doing make-overs and braiding and beading their hair. I've just impressed them immensely because at the grand old age of 36 (and despite being overweight) I can stand on my head and do a backwards roll. (I wish I could impress my boss as easily!) :rotfl:
After lunch we are going to see Nanny Mcphee. As a penance for having such a girly day I shall chain myself to the ironing board after tea and tackle the pile whilst watching the last wife swap.
I was intending to do some ebay photos today but will do it tomorrow now as DD's are going to grandparents for the day. :T

Scuzz Im pleased you have heard a bit of positive news about your family,
Pink Fairy Im so pleased its good news about your daughter,
and CQ I hope things look up for your son soon.

Oh, forgot to say, I bought one of these yesterday, anyone had one before?

BTW - I'm not going to tell you what it is yet. There ya go, CQ - something for you to look for (unless you know what it is, which is probable, knowing you :D:

No, I don't know what it is, although I'm intrigued to find out (hehehe another excuse to sit here a bit longer while I look it up  ) and it looks lovely too!

I take it it's something edible?

Edit: I think I know what it is, but i'm struggling to find one in that colour! ... unless you've been playing with the paint box ;) :rotfl:

But then again I could be totally wrong ...

    Morning all,

I'm off work today! :j :j So have been a busy bee getting the jobs done whilst children watch TV so we can all go out this afternoon to the cinema, going to watch that nanny film with emma thompson in.

It's HM pizza, wedges and sour cream dip for tea.

Have a mobile valeter coming to do my car this morning...don't know if it's wise in all this rain, but need to get my car up for sale it costs way to much to run.. only thing is I have no idea how much to sell it for... anyone know a site that will give me a book price for free????

    Have a good day all.

    Hi,

www.parkers.co.uk will give you a basic book value for your car. If you want a more accurate value I think it's £2.99 for 24hours access which takes into account the mileage, colour etc...

    Hi everyone,
I've been away for ages - hectic time at home and work and I knew that if I sat down at the computer I would just spend too long on it and not get my stuff done. Still, it's half term, the baby is asleep and the big one is watching SpongeBob DVD and I have decided I need some 'me' time! I am still in my PJ's - it has taken me so long to read all the stuff I have missed. Great to see Queenie back. I have fallen off the Old Style wagon a bit lately - life has just been too hectic, but being as I am overdrawn for the first time in ages I really need to get back on it, and soon!
Hope everyone has a good day! Best go and get dressed as DH will be home soon for lunch and I still haven't cleaned up from breakfast!
