Morning all
Well, I seem to be catching whatever it is a lot of you have! However, I refuse to get up in the middle of the night and start my choresEven though I was awake at 5, being on my own in bed was great - no listening to snoring/farting or fighting for the duvet
I wouldn't mind, but whenI do wake up I start thinking what you lot are up to and whether you've posted yet
Got some more items posted on ebay last night. Still need to sort some more boot sale stuff. I can get in my spare room now - just, but that's only because I have a coach built pram in the kitchen and assorted china on the dining room window ledge. I have 3 bags of clothes and 1 of shoes for charity so will deposit them somewhere next week.
I need to blitz the house. I didn't unpack the DW last night so have supper/brekkie pots hanging around. Want to tidy DS1's room before he comes back today - I'm sure some more toys will disappearWant to deep clean the bathroom and en suite today as well as sort the airing cupboards. Have some bits for the Xmas boxes to find in there - toothbrushes etc. Did 3 loads of washing yesterday too so have stuff hanging around drying or needing ironing.
Dunno about tea yet. I may use up the ham joint I did the other day with pots and veg.
Mmmmm - decisions, decisions0 -
good morning everyone
sunday is my favorite day of the week - its the only day i can guarantee some 'me' time. My work involves being with people - lots of people- for hours on end - so i love the solitude i get on sundays when i spend from around 10 am - 2 pm in the house alone. :T
My rabbit is prepared and ready to bake for lunch, along with parsnips and carrots from my dads garden. green beans from the garden are in the freezer and the potatoes came ina huge ( hundred weight i think ) bag from the farm shop up the road.
i have made a rhubarb pie for pudding that i wont be eating ( yuk spit yuk yuk ) so it will last at least three days!
my morning will start when i finish this cup of tea - walk the dog - clean the house ( 20 minute whip round ) then another cup of tea and ill settle down to sell a ton of soft toys on ebay. i saved them up to do at this time of year in the hope that with christmas on its way i might make a couple of extra pounds on them i hate myself for sounding like im taking advantage of peoples needs though
i do have a huge pile of ironing to do - ironing of the WORST kind including several sheets and duvet covers - i was an idiot and left them in the tumble drier and i just cant bear to put them on the bed this wrinkled! If i wait till the delicious Jeremy Vine appears on tv on the politics show just before lunch though - that makes it a bit more bearable ( weg )
my dad will be here for our roast rabbit lunch at 2 and after that ill be off to walk the dog again - if its still light enough and not pouring down or blowing a gale i too shall be off up the beacon in the malvern hills!! tell your hubby to give me a wave powie69!! :j
have a great day everyone - and no matter what youre doing or how busy you are - find at least five minutes to do something for YOU!! youre all such hard workers on this forum and have inspired me so much you deserve some of lifes simple pleasures every day - thanks.

Morning all!
Today is my day of shopping, ironing, laundry and cleaning. I like to do the whole flat on the weekend then have a quick tidy and clean every day in the week, I dont get time for much else! Im roping the boyf into heping today, he is actually waking up at reasonable hours these days and has so far successfully learned washing the dishes, hoovering and doing the kitty stuff. Today I think ill teach laundry and he can hoover and clean the kitchen thoroughly, while I do the bathroom and ironing. he can also help with shopping, and then im confiscating his bank card so the money can be sent to my bills account....
Went out last night as it was the birthday of a friends, and had a bit of fun, came back early though as im not really a party girl these days! I then had tea and watched ep5 of lost series 2 (its becoming a saturday night ritual to get loads of blankets and stuff and watch it).
Anyway, im still beaming over yesterdays win so I tought the boyf to enter them and he feels quite enthused that they actually work! He is imagining himself winning everything though, and sitting in the midst of a load of parcels like its xmas or something.
Oh well, time for more tea then a shower and Lidl I think!

Morning!!:hello:
Actually had a lie in today!!(Well, until 7.45 anyway!)
DS1 has just gone to his swimming lesson with DH. DS2 is playing quietly in his room - BLISS!!!!!
Really need to get on with the ironing, but couldn't resist checking in here 1st!
Lots of housework/tidying to do today. 2 loads of washing done yesterday and dried (radiators/TD) but that basket just keeps filling up!????
Dinner will be shepherd's pie today with veg (yum yum!)
Have a great day all!! :wave:20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

Well I tidied up throroughly yesterday but this morning it is in a worse state than it was before I tidied up yesterday. It's like Groundhog Day in this house! Although I did finally manage to take my recycling to the bins so the conservatory looks a bit tidier
Didn't buy a potty so I am off to Tesco today to get one...
Have around 5 loads of washing to wash and dry.
Stew for tea - when I get around to buying a sharp knife to cut the braising steak with. Probably at Tesco. points, points, points...
Talking of points I went to Boots yesterday and checked my advantage machine for offers and printed off all the vouchers. They had an offer where you got 100 points when you bought a Boots Smile product, and the cheapest was a small tube of toothpaste at 59p, so you get £1.00 on your card for spending 59p. I might go back today and buy 10 more tubes and get an extra £10 to spend in there LOL. Although I am actually saving myself for the Christmas preview night on 1st November when you get 1200 points for spending £50. There was so much stuff I could have bought yesterday! I might just get my nappies and wipes for the month from there rather than Morrisons - that's about 30% of the minimum order value! Nothing to say that you have to buy Christmas presents! Then I will save the points for next Christmas! I also discovered the machine prints me a voucher where I get 25 points when I buy a meal deal rather than the normal 11! Yesterday I spent £30 (got a gift free at £10, and an original source on BOGOF at £1.99) and received 377 points thanks to the bonus points offer
Bought another Christmas present for DS2 (2) - a cartwheeling tigger. They have one at Nursery and they tell me that he loves it and laughs himself stupid. He doesn't talk (delayed development) but this Tigger does induce an "again, again" from him. And this morning I have bid for a sand/water tray off e-bay. There are no bids on it, and it finishes in 11 hours. After that - no more presents for DS2 and I can just concentrate on DS1!

Morning all, this thread starts earlier every day
One load of washing already on, DD2 hoovered the living room for me, considering she is only 4 she has done a damm good job of it too, there was only one bit I had to go back over
I was going to have a housework free day and concentrate on the stuff I am making for christmas but there is so much to be done and another two loads of washing to go in. Luckily the sun is shining so much of it will go out on the line.
The christmas puds have to be made today, I finally got the last of the ingredients that I needed so that is the project for this afternoon.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Morning everyone :j
brokenwings, I love rhubarb, fancy sending me your pie? Don't think DD would fancy the rabbit though
scuzz I hope everyone with family in the path of Wilma is safe, it looks awful on the news and so many people heading to Florida for the mid term, doesn't bear thinking about being caught up in that.
monkeylugs, thanks for the heads up on the Smile products, we have just about finished all the Smile mouthwash bought around this time last year for the 100 points
Might just have to pop to Boots today0 -
Morning all,
Yesterday was a busy day, walked into town to meet a friend for a coffee, then went to Primark to buy some jogging bottoms for when I start going to the gym soon (only £3). I then went to QD and bought Xmas stockings for me and OH to fill for each otherI know we are probably way too old for this, and too old for advent calendars, but love all about Xmas and can't bring myself to 'grow up'!
The necklace I'd bought for my sister's Xmas present arrived yesterday from Hong Kong- it's beautiful and a bargain for £6 inc postage
Went to the library to pick up my reservation, and also borrowed a DVD from there which cost £3. Still a lot cheaper than going to the cinema though.
Went to Tescos to do a weekly shop, only spent £10 which I was pleased about. I must sort through all my receipts to see where I'm up to with my grocery challenge and check I'm keeping to my target- pretty sure I am.
Yesterday's dinner was stir fry veg with smoked tofu- I'd never had tofu before but a vegan friend suggested it to me. I still have almost half the block left but have no idea what kind of meal to make with it other than stir fry-if anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful as I hate wasting food esp when it was quite expensive in the first place.
Yesterday I hung out 2 loads of dark laundry, I have very few bits in the whites laundry bin so seems pointless to do it really, may wait till next week. We wear far fewer white clothes in autumn/ winter it seems.
Just had porridge for breakfast. I'd started having Oats So Simple last winter and stocked up on loads of boxes when they were BOGOF, and I was coming to the end of them. I had always thought for some reason that proper porridge was very hard and time consuming to makebut Mum has explained it to me and it's actually very easy, so I bought some porridge oats (they were soooo much cheaper than Oats so Simple even when they were on BOGOF) and made it this morning and it was scrummy.
Have a great day everyone, I ought to get dressed soon and start hoovering, dusting and washing up soon but Sunday is the only day when I let myself have a bit of a laze.
SarahYesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams0
