SNAP! LOL
I always have terrible trouble getting really good crackling for some reason ...
And I've just poured myself a glass of wine to chill out a bit before bed
Double SNAP! (ish) ... mine's Ribena ... but, it's in a wine glass and *looks* like red wine
Crackling - I give mine a rub with a teeny bit of olive oil, a rub of salt and lots of scoring! If it doesn't crisp as I'd like it too ... I shove it under the grill to finish off.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

My husband does the Ironing - why do you think I married him?Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Hmm a marinade sounds like a good idea since i'm going to be awake for another hour at least (neighbours having a party). I think salmon marinaded in dark soy sauce, tomato puree & sweet chilli sauce.Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!0

Now our last set of neighbours would have invited us. This lot though... well i'm not into what they take to parties. We have a lovely flat, but the one next door is let by a landlord that isn't too choosy about his tenants. He lives in N.Ireland and leaves everthing up to the estate agents.Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!0 -

Morning
Gosh on 2nd page already  Well didnt have a good night. OH went out with a couple of mates lastnight playing pool-so didnt get into 1'ish-but he hasnt been out for ages and deserves a break  He came in abit merry-but enjoyed himself which is the main thing.
Just stuck load in TD as its raining here. DW needs emptying. DD needs bath and her hair dryed and straightened  OH is going to do a little more painting-if he has no hang over....lol.
Got a chicken out the freezer. So dinner is Roast chicken, roast spuds, mash, stuffing, HM yorkies, sprouts, cabbage, swede/mash and gravymight do a peach crumble for pudding. Breakfast is cereal and lunch will be a jacket spud or sarnie for DD and OH-I have left over shepards pie from last night.
Have SIL coming tomorrow to do some jobs around the house and dont know what to ask her? Last week she managed to clean out/tidy/date sort 2 large cupboards, 3 drawers and a huge rotunda with tons on it, plus lots of ironing :T I think im gonna ask her to clean fridge out, quick lick downstairs, wash the window frames down with bleach as there are some stubborn dirt which may need a toothbrush  then some ironingShes here for 5 hrs so should be ample time-plus she has unlimited supplies of tea and food.
Anyways, Id better go feed my DD, she refused to eat her shepards pie last night coz i put sweetcorn in it to pad out abit-so she didnt eat anything from 6pm onwards-but was allowed waterReally wasnt in the mood and didnt give her anything, although she kept making me feel bad, saying she was starving-but i didnt cave in especially with OH not being here. She has woken with a grumbling tummy...lol.
Catch up later.

Morning everyone.
Have woken up this morning with a stinking cold, and so has my DS. My DH is off to climb up the malverns (local hills) this morning (rather him than me). I'm going to have a lazy day today. Way good yesterday though, and made my grandparents Xmas hamper, which is now around my mums house, as I'm running out of room of place to put Xmas gifts. Will be glad when I can hand them out.:j .
Hope you all have a good Sunday.
LOL
