Ah... Piece at last!
Kitchen clean, WM is on, BM filled ready for the morning (I like it!!), just minced the beef - half is now burger ready and freezing for later in the week, the rest is just mince ready and freezing; making Lasagne later this week too!
Was debating whether or not to do the apple sauce for tomorrow - but it can wait until then!
Checking out the finances now I can't believe how much we have saved this last month. Not only on food shopping, but PIN money too (not counted, but can see the level in the jar!) If we can do this up to Christmas, we will be able to up our offer payments to our creditors and clear that faster too. :T
So while others poster/previous threads are getting sentimental about OS - I too would like to say thanks. :T :T :T
Thanks for being here, for listening to me and for putting up with me!
Right now?? Got that glass of wine and kicking back ......................0 -
yes, during the summer when I spent so many hours on here day and night, I was meant to be studying and looking for a job!!!! Now I should just be studying!!!!
But working in the big smoke for a while.....
no I can't be :silenced:
but I can screech my way through I'll sing if you're happy and you know it  (that's in place of clapping your hands....but don't spill your drink) that Queenie is back!!!0 -
Evening all!
Not very OS day for me today.
Did go shopping in the end, as I remembered its my sister-in-law's b'day on Tuesday. Would normally have sent money, but actually bought her a pressie today (I prefer to get pressies on my birthday!) and saved myself about £15 on what I would normally have spent.:D
However, BAD news on the car front. My OH had a minor bump recently & it was 'assessed' today for the insurers - chances are its going to be a write off!!! This is SUCH bad timing for us. We have no spare cash to put towards a new car & his is great just for getting him to & from work:mad:   . Will have to wait & see what they say, but I can just see it costing us so much money (that we haven't got!)
Kids now in bed & there is peace at last!!
Have a good evening everyone!!:wave:20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100
