Today has been great - the missing money is in a pension (deliberating on cancelling it) and saturday pay was a mistake and will get it next month.
At 8am I received a viners 24 piece cutlery set worth £80 that I won as a runner up in a competition I dont remember entering, (thanks to Happy_Chris and Glist dishwashing stuff) and got home from work to a letter from the tax office wanting to clarify my work history this year (tax back soon I hope! - letter filled in and returned already) and another one telling me that tax code has changed to account for the £45 laundering your own work branded clothing allowance. next months pay is going to be sweet as sin!
I also recieved the free photo print of the boyf that I sent off (its very pretty!) and the boyf had washed the dishes.
Dinner is Lamb (and is almost ready) and im going to give the new cutlery a spin. I need some posh plates now though, 39p Ikea reject plates just dont match with the £80 cutlery somehow!!
Hope you are all having a good day!

Hi Guys,
Just a quick reminder as there have been a few posts in this thread that come close to what could be considered medical advice. It's very important that we don't post medical advice as this forum is essentially anonymous. Although there are probably people with good knowledge of these subjects, there is no way of verifying this. As such we have to have a blanket ban on medical advice in the best interests of the site and its readers.
If you are worried about your health, the best advice is to see your doctor.
Thanks

I do love this thread, its like having a good old gossip with mates isnt it?
Knowing we all have the same mundane chores to do somehow makes doing mine a bit easier
Bit of bad news just hit me from NZ though, my Nan has bowel cancer,a 4inch by 3in tumour. So thats made me feel rubbish for choosing to moive so far away from home. She is going for a six week chemo session before surgery so to cheer her up I am going to do a big scrapbook filled woth photos of us and the kids. Some of the kids pictures and hand/footprints etc.
OH has taken Monday off work (cause he has been away on business all week and we havent seen him) so I am going to pop into our craft shop to pick up some nice bits to decorate it with. Thought it might be something to keep focussed on when she is feeling rough.
OH is due back in about 2 hours depending on the traffic from York and the house looks like a bombs hit, am going to have to do a frantic half hour scramble to clean the worst of it.
I am SO looking forward to a long hot bath tomorrow, my reward for a week alone with sprogs 1, 2 & 3.
And then theres half term to look forward to - ARGH.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone,

Humph Pink, you were miles away on the phone if I recall when I was singing, the tune was distorted down the phone lines
Anyway, I hope you are all suitably motivated this evening, what can possibly be better than x-Factor, a sing-a-long OS _party_
actually the noise you are hearing now is Martin singing, have a listen here
thats another 20 brownie points gone0
