Good news for you Pink Fairy
Hope the recovery goes well for you all and although it will be hard work at least you will have her with you and not having to spend the time travelling back and forth now the weather is turning.
WM is doing its first load Queenie, no BM for me, why have a daughter and a machine
Actually I tell a lie, there is a BM out in the hut where it has languished for months after the first flush of using it.
Okay, its late but SC?
arrggg as I typed it I realised0 -
Wow! everyones an early bird this morning! :hello:
And yes, I have the BM and WM chugging away, but no SC at the moment
Think my body clock is getting worse! ... slept from 7-10pm when I was woken by a phone call and been up ever since
No point going back to bed now or I won't be up to get DS up for school, so I'm just going to chug along and see how far I get before falling asleep again"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Evening/morning/g'day C_Q
I was thinking about you earlier as I lay in my bed trying to sleep so decided to just get up and worry about my time clock tomorrow
Even News24 wasn't going to get me over to sleep so started the WM and came on here to catch up with the virtual world0 -

Hehehe, join the gangI'm doing the same - think others on here at this time might be too. (I shall tootle off to the sofa for an hour catch up after the menfolk have all been sent on their merry ways).
I've sneaked out and put the washing machine on (it doesn't work too well until *I* have a coffee ... strange!)
No dishwasher - (they are all still asleep)
Dh off to work in a mo ... no fresh bread ... but I've taken pre-made sarnies out of the freezer for him and for the boys pack up.
Slow cooker isn't on - I'm going to treat the boys later tonight - one of them was assaulted at school yesterday, so I think he deserves a pick-me-up-treat
I have a couple of fabric pumpkins that I'd like to finish at some point before Halloween .... ... just not sure which *year*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I can see this thread being on page 2 by the time anyone else wakes up! :rotfl:Edinburghlass wrote:I was thinking about you earlier as I lay in my bed trying to sleep so decided to just get up and worry about my time clock tomorrow
Awwww bless *hugs*
I think I'd still have been awake by now even if I hadn't been woken up by the phone last night. I never managed to get a nap during the day yesterday so when I got on the sofa to watch the news and soaps I was sparko within minutes LOL!
Oooooo my tummy's rumbling and the smell of fresh bread wafting through isn't helping! :drool:Queenie wrote:Slow cooker isn't on - I'm going to treat the boys later tonight - one of them was assaulted at school yesterday, so I think he deserves a pick-me-up-treat
Oh my gosh  I hope he's ok? *hugs* ... and yes, he most definitely deserves a treat after that! Kids can be so cruel at times  ... at least it's half term now so he can get a break!
Urgh! I've just been chasing a dozy wasp around the kitchen trying to get it before it gets me _pale_ ... that's the second one in two days now so I hope I don't get anymore!
I'm going to go and fry off some onions and bacon in a mo for DS to take to school as he's making cheese and potato pie today, and these are optional ingredients he's allowed to take as long as they're cooked first
!!!!!!, I can hear buzzing again in the kitchen ... off to investigate _pale_"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

**hugs** from me too Queenie
It must be the weather either that of the anticipation of a mid-term break as I had a mother at the door last w/end threatening me with the police over some alleged mis-doing by my DD.
I was so stunned I just kind of stood there with my mouth hanging open
But the good news is today DD made up with another friend that she had "fallen" out with, with a bit of sly intervention from Glad
C_Q I am now off to fry bacon and egg for breakfast as I can smell your bacon and onions from here0 -
Morning
GOSH-everyone is up bright and early this morning
Not a good night last night and my tummy is playing havoc this morningbut never mind-theres always someone worse than yourself, so all you can do is struggle on.
Going to put WM on at 6am, then when OH gets out of pit-our bedding needs doing before cleaner gets here or at least dry whilst shes here. OH got 3 pizza bases done in the BM yesterday, so they have been frozen. Managed to make the lemon cake packet that needed using and it turned out lovely and they last a few days too-so great with a coffee. Cleaner is here for 4hrs today and last week she got done in 3-so asked me to add a few more jobs weekly so she has enough work to do. Ive added making our bed up with clean bedding as OH normally does it. We have a superking bed and can be a real pig to make, but shes a strong gal and will save OH another job each week. Just need to do a quick 10min blitz and get everything away
DD broke up yesterday, so is now off till a week tuesday. I have dentist this morning at 10, so she is going to stay with cleaner-should only be an hour. Also booked a hair appointment for this afternoon. Over the past few months my hair has fallen out and condition is not good due to lack of vitamins and nutrients etc from the SLE and is short already. Needs the ends taken off and will go shorter and more choppier/textured so it appears thicker and more funkier IYKWIM. Gonna be knackered over the weekend but at least I'll look better..lol
I have been looking at things to do next week. So, OH & I have decided (dd dont know yet) bowling (£5 each for 2 games with burger & chips/shoe hire-I wont be going to this), cinema to see Nanny Mcphee (have a disabled card, so will cost £8 for all 3 of us and we take goodies in with us  ), Colchester zoo (DD has an annual pass to this and OH & I only have to pay £4 each due to carer and being disabled)will take a pack up with us as her friend is coming too. Maybe go to Greenwich park if not wet and take a picnic (DD can take bike and I can take me crip wheels
). So 3/4 good outings for around £26-know it sounds expensive but thats basically the full week done. Im hoping I will be OK to do most of it-but will try :A DD has her 11+ in November so will be going through some test papers with her too.
OH jobs over the weekend (which he will probably rope in DD) are tidying back garden-maybe trip to the dump, painting of all woodwork downstairs, sanding down of garden furniture/decking (maybe), some more of DD's bedroom.
Breakie today is porridge and juice for all of us. Lunch for DD & OH will be cheese and ham toasties/crisps/yogurt/fruit (me if I can eat after dentist will be spud with chilli left overs). Dinner tonight will be Pie/Mash & mushy peas.
Tonight will be watching Series 2 of Lost-Episode 5 which we downloaded yesterday-was aired in the USA wednesday evening. DD, OH & I love this series and is our friday night treat.
Anyway, off to put WM on and potter around as my backs hurting and cant get comfortable whether I sit or stand-so might aswell be doing something :rotfl:
Will catch up later if I have time from my busy day...lol.
