Morning All,
Great news about your daughter N9eav, really happy for you all.
I have been up and cleaning for a while now, I have a young couple coming to look at my house tonight. First time buyers which would suit me just fine, so keep your fingers x'd for us.
I have to try and find a cheap larder fridge today as mine had its door pulled to bits yesterday by over enthusiastic children
All my kids are still in bed! I need to go and get some :coffee: as all this cleaning has made me tired
Off to have breakfast in peace
Hope you all enjoy your day,

Just a quick post to say :
We've sold the car :j:j:j:j
The fella has just been at 7.30am () and paid us £200 cash for it. Not as much as we had hoped but apparently there is quite a bit more wrong with it than we thought - I don't care. I only need to find £60 for Xmas now and we can have the "great" Christmas I wanted and then thats only if I max out the budget :j:j Mind you, that £60 should come from ebay by the end of the month. I've already earned £100 which is mostly covering postage costs and the electricity bill. So I am sitting here with £200 cash in front of me and I know I'll have the rest by the end of November at the very latest :j:j:j:j
Todays plan is to go and buy DD 2 pairs of trousers and OH's DVD that he wants from Asda. Also need to pick up the gift from my mum for DD and post 2 ebay parcels. :j:j
Off to get DD ready for school. I am so happy today :dance:_party_:dance::dance:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
:j Great news, nicki! :T Your joy shines through
Enjoy your day.
ahmilligan - Fingers X'd for your "viewers" - sorry to hear about your fridge
Bread machine - small loaf was ready on timer for breakfast and I have the ingredients ready to go for a cheese and onion loaf
Slow Cooker - chicken casserole
Tonight is Christmas Cake night :j (wish me luck, teeny kitchen, two boys to supervise)
Still have some baking/cooking to do for the freezer, so it will be a bobbing in and out day
Take care today, Old Stylers ... there's a nip in the air!

Morning all
N9eav that is great news, I hope she's back home with you very soon.
I had a bit of a late night last night as Without A Trace was on and it was a really good one so I stayed up to watch it, crawled out of bed at 7. Never mind, the house is now tidy, all the beds are made, just the dishwasher to unload when I get back from the school run and a wash to put on if I can find somewhere to dry yesterdays load. It's supposed to rain today
Then I have to nip in to town to pay in a cheque that arrived after DH had gone into town yesterday. It's only £40 but after everything we've had to pay out this month every little helps. DH has already got some overtime booked for next month so hopefully I can start making inroads to christmas. I should have a fair amount coming in Tesco vouchers and I have £40 on my Boots card.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Morning everyone
Glad N9eav's dd is on the mend, it seems like not too bad a day for all at the mo.
Looks like a nice drying day here - sunny & breezy, so washing is out.
Dishwasher emptied (& on the way to being refilled) ;-(
Dinner at least thought of - jacket potatoes with greek salad, so don't have to start doing anything yet.
Even got some cleaning done... do I get a medal?
Not only that, I am even washed & dressed....
And all that before I came on here to see what I was missing!0 -

hello everyone.
Great news about your daughter N9eav, nice to know she is on the road to recovery. Fingers crossed for your viewing ahmiligan.
Today I plan to catch up the mountain of washing the children left me with before retuning home to DAD for the week. How can two girls use so many towels and clothes.
I should make a loaf and do an inventory of the freezer. Hubby works for a food delivery firm and their freezers went wrong last week so he brought home all sorts of things and my freezers are chocca. Need to work them into the meal plans. Will save me some extra this month.:j
Tonight we're having cottage pie and veg and I shall make a spotted !!!!!! for pud as I'm in the need for some comfort eating.
The girls and stepdaughter are back here this weekend so I shall have to think of some meals they will all like, as Sdaughter doesn't like things hidden in gravy, ie stews and casserolesProbably have a pizza night on saturday we always have a traditional roast on sunday so that just leaves friday, and I think it will be lasagne, as I can make that in advance and put it in the oven after collecting them all friday afternoon, as this takes 3 hours of driving:eek:
Right off to get on with it all, shall pop back from time to time when i need a sit down and a :coffee: :wave:0 -
Morning!
Been up since about 5:00am again  Already washed all the dishes (more than ones days worth) and tidied the kitchen and living room. Then i pulled all the furniture out in the living room and gave the floor a good brush (dont think neighbours would appreciate vaccum at that hour!) then got on my hands and knees and washed the floor with some lamiante cleaner to get rid of some pesky sticky marks that have been there since i moved in!
Just put everything back and done a little re-arranging.. fancied a change! Now im sitting down with a bacon barm and a cuppa cos im starvin! Then its on with the rest of the house.. just rang the doctors for an appointment my blood test results wont be back till monday but im due back in work this thursday so need to see whether docs gonna sign me off another week or not cos i cant go back if im gonna be signed off again anytime in the next 26 weeks! Because that means instant dismissal! Next appointment they had was friday though  But with a bit of persuasion i managed to get one for 5pm tonight! So thats my plan for today clean the house and then the doctors. Might try and fit making an apple pie and a homemade pizza in there.. have to see how the day goes though and how i feel after going the docs.
