I have just come back from hospital. It's my daughters 16th birthday today, but she is lying in a hospital bed with tubes and needles connected all over the place. She was taken in several hours ago. It seems her diabetes has gone mad. The hospital staff were fantastic... but it looks like no party tonight.
The o/h is there and I am babysitting the rest here. Hope all is well by the morning.

Morning folks, back after our weekend away in the Caravan watching the choo-choo's. Seriously though it was great fun watching those gleamiing smoking monsters.... brought back some childhood memories I can tell you.
Where do I start, we are going house sitting, did I tell you that.... in France, have eevrything booked up now, away 15th -29th December........this morning well, OH was going off to do a little job for a friend, but its too wet, so plans revised. I have a load of washing done overnight, will wait and see if it clears up before I attempt to put it out.
We stripped the bedding and clothes out of the caravan yesterday, is getting too damp and cold to leave them in, so have the quilt covers etc to wash and also a large coloured load, will have to spilt it over the next two nights......otherwise no real plans, will throw the duster and hoover at the sitting room, bedroom can wait till I change the bed at the weekend..... bathroom could do with a swift wipe too. Library this afternoon I think and thats about it.
Sausage casserole in the slow cooker for supper with jacket spuds.........

Good morning all
Hugs too all those who need them this morning.
Up bright and early this morning so everything is just about done. Beds made after being aired for a couple of hours, dishwasher loaded with brekkie things, set going and just unloaded and put away, washing's washing, tumbles tumbling. Have just had a liberal squirt round the bathroom with some vinegar mix and will leave it to work its magic while I have a quick nosey on here then a rinse off.
An unexpected few hours off today as the little one I normally have is poorly. Aim to use the time wisely and sit on the bed with a good film.....whilst I'm there I will get the entire contents of my craft boxes out and have a good sort through (will take most of the day cos there's far too much)
Dinner was voted on last night, oven chips, eggs and beans was the winner...fine by me - nice and easy.
Will get BM on later, trying to cut down on the amount of bread I eat so trying not to make it until after lunch so I'm not tempted to gorge on hot fresh bread for lunch.
DH has taken all 17 ebay parcels to post today, I cleared £71 on items and probably another £6 on postage as there were some people that had more than one item but paid before I could give them a discounted postage price...oh well - their loss is my gainWill start another collecting box off today as I wander round the house, like to use the same box each time and know that when it's full it's time to photo and list it all. Amazing how much stuff you can get rid of when you think about it.
Right off for a quick mooch around on here then off to rinse the bathroom.
Have a good one all."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
