Got about 3 hours sleep again - then again i did sleep 9am-6pm yesterday!:rotfl: Friend text me at 6am and i couldnt get back to sleep after that so got up about half and hour ago.
Today is the day to catch up on everything i should have done yesterday! Except the hospital (that will have to be monday now)
So breakfast, job applications, post office, shops for groceries. Then im not sure what else i'll be doing. Might go to my nans depending how tired i am.
Treated myself last night to a cd.. only £7.94 which is covered by my amazon and ebay sales this week but i feel a bit guilty
Oooh and i almost forgot.. i found an email last night from 4th of october enquiring about my car i had advertised for sale (its off the road and needs scrapping) it had got lost in my junk mail folder so had to reply apologetically... HOPE they still will be interested but i doubt itFingers crossed eh?

Morning all :hello:
We have broadband once more! What a relief:D, as I was really beginning to miss it and traipsing down to the library and being rushed with all the things that needed looking at wasn't too fun.
Not much to report. I've got 3 days of work for next week, which is quite good since two local authorities round here have a 2 week half term starting yesterday. (we're now on the border of 4 different areas!)
I'm going down to Oxford today to visit a couple of friends, have a chat and pick up a veil for my wedding next year. It's a veil that has been used by 3 of my university friends at their weddings, so now it's my turn. As I'll be trying on brides dresses next week, I'll need it as it's quite long.............
OH has got us tickets for the "cinema club" in town tonight. The nearest multiplex is 12 miles in each direction, so the town seems to have a cinema club season where they get films released this year (or there abouts). Seats are a bargainous £4 each AND we don't have to drive/get transport there as it's just a 10 min walk into town.
Supper tonight will be a veggie pasta sauce that I cooked up and froze. The first batch was nice, so I'm holding alot of hope on this next batch!
Have a good day

Morning all!
Little uns up at 7am again - I can cope with that quite well!
Off to town this morning - someone mentioned that Clarks had a sale on, so off to check it out.
Except the eldest DD "I'm not having shoes from Clarks". Go without then.
Also have a couple of ebay parcels to post and I have to take some nappies back to Boots. Ordered 4 large jumbo packs online (to get the extra points!) and when tehy got here, I've ordered the wrong size!!!! :wall:
Its quicker to change them instore than to post them back and wait for the replacements!
I am treating the kids to sandwiches for lunch today - with a bag of crisps!!!! (Since starting OS these have been off menu!)
BUT!! Since going OS and I'm not eating junk either - I've lost weight! My fav jeans are falling down without a belt and my long boots (I am Soooooo pleased about this one!!) I can do my boots all the way up my calves!!!! :T :j
Anyway - have a nice day to all!0 -
Morning Johanne, morning everyone else
Meant to have an early night last night, but it still ended up being gone 11.30However, I still got a decent night's sleep so I'm wide awake now (although 'raring to go' would not be a phrase applicable to me as I'm not a mornig person at all:D)
DS1 has karate this morning so I'll get Mr TM to drop him off and then take DS2 into town with him. That'll give me 1 1/2 hours to photograph all the bits I want to try and sell on ebay, prior to having to boot sale them. As a lot are toys, I don't want the boys 'reclaiming' them (again) Borrowed next door's camera, so better read up on how to use it in a bit.
Have an ironing pile the size of Mt Snowdon again and still more to wash. I expect that will get done tonight.....or tomorrow night?
Mum is coming for tea - it's 6 weeks since Dad died (tomorrow) which apparently is when it really starts to hit you and also it would have been his 70th birthday today. She's out with a friend during the day, so I said she could be dropped off here.
Will have to get Mr TM to visit the butcher's stall as I'm just about out of meat. If he's back in time, will do a nice beef casserole and maybe jackets.
OK, things to do, (posts to read first)
Have a good day
TM
ps. Morning Vicky and Charlotte - cross posted0 -
Morning all,
Have just finished my library book, so will take that back this morning and collect the reservations that have come in for me.
Should be going to a Charity Sale later on, they will have nearly new clothes, jumble and bric a brac so will have a rummage through to see if there's anything that takes my fancy.
We have my Dad and his wife coming for dinner later on, so I have to think of a Slimming World meal to cook them- I'm determined to stick to my diet even though we have company. They are pretty weight conscious anyway so shouldn't mind.
With having guests I need to get the house spick and span- hoover, dust and polish all over. I washed one load of clothes yesterday evening and hung them on the airer last night to give them a head start drying- if they're not dry by the time Dad gets here I'll just hide it away in the spare room.
Oh yes, I got given a bag of cooking apples by a lady at work, and intend to make an apple crumble. Could offer that for a dessert tonight come to think of it.
Have a great day folk,
SarahYesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams0 -
I wish there was a dancing me smilie! I have a whole two days where I dont have to go to work and can sit on my bum and finally recover from that awful cold that has plagued me for the entire week! Ive sold another book on amazon so im pleased (another £6.50) and got my cd-wow voucher from pugsback so I ordered myself a xmas simpsons dvd to get me in the mood for xmas.
I intend to get most of my cleaning and laundry done this morning as the car people are coming to finish boyf's car today (and its his birthday - but he already opened his present as it got delivered to home and he couldnt wait) - this afternoon I need to go to Ikea and tell boyf to sit on the sofa I chose to approve the decision (he wont complain) - I get paid next friday so im going to buy it after work (i cant wait any longer!).
I need to do some admin too today, ive got letters etc to file, I need to make a budget for next month and a bulk buy shopping list - im determined that ill do the whole month shop and then do top up's to save my time.
I also need to work out how much boyf needs to put into the bills account and when they are all due so that they are paid on time, and im sure there is a million other things to do.
I think im being moved to another branch permenantly soon too, ive been covering over there as there is no-one else who can go so that should make next week interesting, and I have a review too on Friday which im not looking forward too as Im not really sure what can be said since ive only been there 6 weeks, but I have got a whole 7 days of holiday to be taken before the end of the year, so im going to book it off in a big chunk hopefully over xmas - so that I get around two weeks off in total. That would be sweet!
Anyway - I think its time for another cup of tea and a bit of a tv watching session for half an hour before I crack on. I love not working saturdays!! Im working next saturday - but I wont care because Ill have been paid and have bought a sofa!
