no work today at present
so I think I'll try and finish sorting out my finances now and then might go swimming and to the Sainsburys/Asda this afternoon to check for bogofs etc as we're off to tescos tonight to do our main shop (OH's turn to pay this week)
did 2 loads of washing last night and so need to put all that away and maybe do another load today. Flat isn't looking too bad at the moment so doesn't need much cleaning and sorting and don't have many plans over the weekend so we can finish sorting the last of the random rubbish we bought over from our old place then.

Morning all, just thought I'd tell you about a mad moment i had last night with my dh (It's clean - honest!!)
When he got in from work i was 'busy' stirring a C_Q chicken bhuna, and savouring the delish aroma. Dh walked in, took one look and started SINGING
"Currrryyyy Quuuuueeeeen, Cuuurrrrrryyyyy Quuuuueeeeennnnn, we all love Currrryyyy Quuuueeeennnn"
"bless" says me "must remember to tell her you made up a song for her, she'll be chuffed".
"You KNOW Curry Queen  ???" says dh
When we finally got to the bottom of it, he thought the curries came from a website called CurryQueen.com or something similar!!! :rotfl: When he realised that Curry Queen was your screen name, he thought about it for a minute and then concluded that you should indeed set up CurryQueen.com and that he will be your most loyal taste tester and customer (please nicely).
I giggled at him for ages - sure I told him yonks ago they were recipes posted on the 'Old Timers Site' as he likes to call us!!I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle0 -
:rotfl:
Thanks for the giggles MrsB
Oh and RAAACYYYYYY <snigger> here's your hangover cure darlin'...
Now get that fireman back in that laundry basket... and get this place cleaned up a bit!
And no, you can't go out tonight ... you're GROUNDED!!!:rotfl:

Hi everyone!
Much better day today than yesterday- I was a real dumb blond yesterday. Managed to completely forget to meet my friend for coffee and just carried on from there really!!!
Have stripped the beds today and sorted out the washing. Plan to make bottom of the fridge soup when I get home followed by pasta. Small person is off to granny's for tea. This evening I've got a stack of PTA paperwork to get through but as I'm finishing as Chairman at the AGM next week that should soon be a thing of the past.
Won't be a great deal of OSing this weekend as we're off to visit the outlaws tomorrow but OH has made a chicken pie to take with us. Thanks to OS I'm taking all the Chrimbo pressies with us so that OH's other siblings can pick them up when they visit. Have never been so organised!!
Very pleased as managed to pick up a lovely M&S jumper in mint condition for OH from Oxfam which I've squirrelled away. He won't mind because he knows there'll still be cash in the kitty for another pressie that way!
Other than that I shall have the usual trawl round Tesco and at some point I've got to make an evacuee's outfit. Oh the joys of being a Mother!!!!
Have a good weekend

My new puppy update arrievd today. They've got a bit confused and I'm now sponsoring Bruno not Denver, but he's very cute (see new icon) . Apparently he has a thing for empty cereal boxes - glad I don't have to clear up the gardenStill wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!0
