Early start to the day due to kids being up at 6am. Thought, well I could sit in front of TV with them or could do something more useful - so did ALL the ironing and 1 load of washing, ready to go out (sunny here today!) DS1 just got back from swimming lesson, so next wash can go on!!
Chicken for dinner today with veg and mash (kids favourite.)
Planning a day clearing up the garden today (desperately needs it!) Will also take the kids to the park on their bikes later!
DH just made nice cup of tea. Going to jump in the shower shortly!
Hope everyone has a good day!!:D :wave:20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

Hiya,
Still choked up with the flu. Absolutly stinking hot here. God how I hate summer. You will here me moaning constantly over the next few months.:D I caught up with my ironing this morning & DD & I had a good gossip about her night out. This afternoon I went through my Xmas pressie drawer & composed a list of things I need to buy/make. Had a wee resty after that. I was exhausted.
I made a corn meat pie with the leftover corn meat & we finally finished the Lemon Sago.DH has just called me that there is something good on the Telly so will be off. Hope you all have a lovely Sunday.

Hi,
I've not posted on here for a while after being on holiday so hope it's ok to come back on, I'm still a newbie really anyway.
I'm at work at the moment doing a bit extra on overtime as I've spent too much while I was on holiday. Think I'll stay here until about 1 (if I've got all my work done) and then my lovely boyfriend will pick me up and we're going to play tennis. After that have got a pretty bug pile of ironing to do . . . Nothing exciting I'm afraid.Comping Challenge

Morning everyone, lovely bright sunny morning here, till you go outside bbbbrrrrrrrrrrr quick dash to the line to hang out overnight washing, bread cooling.....nothing much really planned, we have to make some decisions re clutter, see my posts on Cheryl and hoarding junk...... there is a possibility we may be moving into a flat at some stage in the near future and have 15 years of junk/clutter to clear...... we did have a massive clearout when we moved into this house, but gradually we seem to have collected more........ I am astounded at what is in the attic, cuboards etc......what to do with it???? I have hand embroidered tablecloths worked by myself and my husbands mother which I am loathe to give away, none of the kids want them and I doubt if they would really sell unless we did a sale at an Antique fair.........I have a dresser full of chrystal glass and china, it will have to go somewhere and books........... fabric for my quilting................at least I have the veg etc prepared for supper.........
DH just made me a cup of coffee, off to drink it.............he is clearing out some of the rubbish from the spice drawers in the dresser, anyone want to buy a 5ft - 3 cupboard antiuqe pine dresser??????????????...........I need to lie down...........

Penny-Pincher!! wrote:Got a leg of lamb out for dinner later. Can anyone help me cook this in the SC-times etc-what to add water wise etc????? We usually eat around 5pm. Having with it, roast spuds, new pots & mint, HM yorkies, carrots, stuffing, cauliflower, parsnips (OH needs to get some), mint sauce and a ton of gravy
I love sundays! May do a small peach crumble and custard for pudding.
You only need to add about a pint (half litre) of water, just enough to steam and make a nice seal with the lid, and you'll end up with more liquid than you started with that I generally use another day as stock or as a soup base.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Welcome to you both
How you do smilies depends very much on which editor you are using. There is a very useful guide about all aspects of the site written by sra which is here:-

In that list is the beginner's guide and further down is a link to the page on smilies.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
