    Hello

Ive gotta work again today, but I have loads of other stuff to do so I dont want to go!! Id rather be at home being o/s....

Anyway, went out for a drink last night and ended up accidentally finding out that I might be being temporarily moved to our twin branch in the city centre which is a lot busier so next week might be interesting... Ive got a package to pick up that I dont have time to get today, but ive sold another book on amazon so I must post that out, but I can do that at work - the parcel is at my local office which is inconvenient!

Anyway, must go get ready, but at least im only working till 3 today, after that im going to go on a cleaning mission, then find a blockbuster so I can use my free rental voucher that I got from pigsback. Still waiting for the mugs but then I got one from work for free yesterday so its not like im desperate, ive got 7 already!

Have a lovely day all, will post again later....

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL OS's!

    Morning all,

I think this is the earliest I've ever logged on, and I know that may be late for some people but had to book a bus for OH. He was working away yesterday and left his briefcase! But co-incidentally, DD1 was coming home to drop her old car off as she has a new one and as OH's work is not too far away from where she lives, so he's now going to collect old car, his briefcase and then come home! (not very OS I know, but you know, needs must etc).

Yesterday I took lots of things to re-cycle plant - and found that they don't take tinfoil (used to collect this for church but they don't know do it now as whereever they took it to doesn't want it any more).

Today is most probably going to be a bit hectic as my church is holding it's annual Autumn Fayre and my sis has a stall cos she makes some wonderful cards, gift tags, note sets. so I've to collect her and take her back (she doesn't drive) and then take OH to bus station (might get him to consider another bus/train!) Most probably will end up spending lots of money at Fayre, but it will be supporting various charities and will be very enjoyable!

I'm donating some HM jam and some books so I suppose I'm being good that way! Setting off the BM before I go so it will be ready teatime, but Saturday is OH's day for tea so that will be easy for me!

Did some washing last night/thru night hoping to hang out this morning but it's raining here so have to use TD - oh well, you can't win all the time!

Hope your tooth/gum feels better soon PP, and take care ((((Hugs))))!

Hope you all have a good day

    Good Morning! :hello:

jo - have a good day at work today :D Congratulations on your book sale - every penny counts ;)

PP - hope the dental pain numbs a bit with painkillers :( and good luck with your auctions :D

Looking forward to an enjoyable day ahead today - I have earmarked a slot to get another little part of my X-stitch done :)
It's also Library day today - nice an frugal LOL

Not too sure I'll be able to get my laundry out, even if I do, it won't dry completely, so may need to resort to the line in the bathroom.

It's D10yo turn to do a bit of cooking today - he's decided to he'd prefer to make cakes. :D

    Enjoy your Saturday

    Morning everyone!

It's a damp and drizzly day here in N.Ireland, but regardless have to get a load of washing done, and let it dry indoors. I have lunch sorted already (salad items in fridge, + fish + rice), then this evening I'll have the remainder of my Chinese Chicken. The Chinese Chicken is in the slow cooker and I made it when I was home yesterday for 40 minutes at lunchtime...and yes, I had lunch as well! The Chinese Chicken is based on recipe posted on Squeaky's index but calls for frying the chicken & some veg then putting it in the slow cooker. I did that the first time I made it, but yesterday due to lack of time I fried nothing just chucked it all into the slow cooker....the consistency of the sauce is different but it tastes basically the same. So I'll be using the "chuck it all in at once" method in the future. I did a quick shop last night, didn't have a list, but only bought what I needed (miracle!) so shall be supermarket free this weekend.

I've got lots of studying to do this weekend as I am doing a course just for fun...psychology and sociology. It's v.interesting stuff.

Penny Pincher, I really feel for you and your tooth...it's not terribly fair that you have to go through this on top of everything else. Hopefully when you are in the dentist chair s/he will ensure the rest of your teeth are healthy before you leave thus avoiding any repeat visits. This pain is temporary, and it will go away.

Best wishes to everyone, have the best weekend you possibly can.

Washing is a chugging and once it is done not much planned for the rest of the day once I've taken the kids to gymnastics and thoroughly chilled myself in an unheated sports hall for an hour.

The Mathelettes are off to grannies for the day and Mrs MATH has already left for a day of Youth Worker training with our Church so ther world's me lobster as they say. Plan to cook and OS version of something junky for us to eat on our laps in front of X factor tonight (Saturday is the only night we eat on trays so the kidz think it is a treat).

If I can summon up so willpower I may start list making and planning what I need to pack next week to go to the coast for half term and I should really make myself do a 4mile walk cos I've had to use the car twice this week due to lack of time or too much to carry:o

Have a good day Yall and catch ya later.

    Morning all

Feeling fairly rested after sleeping so soundly last night. Feel off the OS wagon bigstyle last night tho, went shopping and spent £75  ....We do have 2 extra big eaters for dinner and tea tomorrow and I did buy choccies to put by for xmas but still.......and then to top it all off....we got a take away! Enjoyed it tho - first one in ages and loads left for picky lunch today.

Car's gone for its MOT this morning - fingers crossed that it doesn't need to much doing to it. Hopefully we'll get the car back by lunch time and will be able to get to town to the market for fruit. Dd's want a walk along the beach too to collect some shells for a crafty project we've got planned.

DH will be making one of his currys for tea, he's only recently converted me to curry and now I can't get enough. Will have a bowl of curry with chips infront of Xfactor tonight with the kids (the only time of the week we all sit together to watch something).

Going to paint my salt dough if I get chance today and get all the veg prepped for tomorrows dinner so that I don't have to run around like a loon when friends are here.

Hope you all have a great day.
