Morning all...
Johanne, PP and nicki's DD a big hug.
Got my computer service guy coming at 10 so will be forced off soon.
DS has asked for chicken wraps for tea, so have put some chicken breasts in the SC with a little white wine in the bottom and paprika over the top. will do bowls of cheese, salad, sour cream, sliced lemons and chopped chicken and they can all make their own.
DH comes home from his week away later so will try and get all the cleaning, washing and ironing done so we can have the weekend free to have some fun.
Have a good day all, speak later.0 -
Hello everyone. Hope the day gets better for all those with problems.
I hope to have a good day... it's my birthday.
Had an early phone call from DD and grandkids before they went off to school. Hubbie brought me tea in bed and flowers. I opened cards in bed and dozens of red paper hearts fell from card from grandsons. They're little darlings.
I'll see them tomorow.
A friend on her way to work called in with cards and a gift. So a good start to the morning.
Not so good .. a letter in post from hospital saying I had to go next week and have a core biopsy on both breasts. Yes I'm having breast problems. I won't let that spoil my day though.
I'm just having a lazy morning. Going to enjoy a lovely bubble bath with nice smellies and perfume from hubbie .. (Opium) then we're going out to lunch at Loch Fyne restaurant. (found this company from someone's great thread some while ago) . Food is great there.
Later our family and other grandchildren will descend on us for tea and birthday cake.
All in all a good day.
Hope it's a good day for everyone else. Maisie0 -
morning all
sorry to here that some of you are having such a poo time at the momment.
Was hoping to be doing house work this morning, but baby has decided to stay awake and kindly attach himself to me  .
Getting really fed up with my dp never helping out or saying he's going to do stuff and not which is a daily occurence. Poor DD has needed new school tshirts for a few weeks now and he keeps saying he will give me the money, but it never appears, same for the blackout blinds in dds bedroom, got me to order them and then I had to pay for them with the grocery money, then had to buy grocerys with my credit card that I had just managed to pay off
Sorry to ramble, but he is doing my head in as if he ever wants anything he just goes and buys it and expects us to go with out.
better go and try and do house work as I think baby is going to sleep :j
hope you all have a good daySaving for the future of the earth0 -

Not doing much today apart from the usual cleaning etc.
Really fed up actually as I'd ordered something from lxdirect which they won't send me cos I'd had credit problems with them 7 years ago! I didn't want an account and wanted to pay with my card!! Feel like a crim or something, still being punished for past problems!Anyway, their loss, if they don't want my money they can get stuffed!
Having HM burgers and buns tonight with HM coleslaw and I will attempt to make some sort of salsa or relish to go with them.

Penny Pincher - years ago I had an abcess and pain was indescribable- got so desperate I rubbed a LITTLE whisky on the gum where the pain was and it seemed to "numb" it for about an hour. This stopped me from banging my head on the wall."This site is addictive!"
