    Hello
Spent most of yesterday evening trying to get firefox working :(
I eventually discovered a file had got corrupted and it was a simple matter of deleting a folder (always is simple once you know, isnt it?)
This morning I have done absolutely nothing :p
My powergen free lightbulbs finally came this morning(they are supposed to last 6 years!)
I'll go and make sandwiches for lunch in a minute.Cheese, rocket and tomato on HM bread.
We managed to get over to costco the other day as OH was going to Dartford anyway.Stocked up on head-and-shoulders and beef. They no longer do their peperoni though which is a pain as we relied on it for at least one pizza a week,it was great with rice too.
    Have a lovely weekend
  • Good morning everyone or is it nearly afternoon:eek: . Yes I confess I have just got up so am very bad. I did wake up at 7 and was going to get up then but decided to have another 5 mins (oops) Anyway I will be up late tonight so I suppose that balances out

I have decided to take myself for a long walk today as I have done no excersise at all for a week or so I have a pedometer so I think I will aim for 10,000 steps which is what they say we should do every day. On the way I need to pick up some sweets for the trick or treat crew which are bound to be starting tomorrow.

Eating out with family tonight so no need to think about meal planning:j
Thank you queenie for reminding us about the hour going back I would have been sure to forget!

Hope you all have a lovely day

    Morning all!
Well done PP on your good nights sleep!
I am still in nightie & dressing gown, but I have done the washing & got dinner sitting and cooking in the SC, so don't feel too bad about it. I was up till 2 finishing this month's church magazine, which is now printed out this morning, and ready to go off to the photocopier (fortunately the actual printing & making up the mags is not my job! The editing & writing the whole thing is enough for me)
DH is not working this morning, & having hung out the washing & cleaned the pond filter is now at a loose end not knowing what to do. Why do I never have that problem? There are always more things to do than I know which to start with?????
Have a great weekend, all of you!

    Afternoon all icon7.gif

I have a great excuse. Just let me have another cup of coffee first and I'll tell you icon10.gif

    :coffee:

Hope everyone is having a more productive day than I am so far (not difficult icon11.gif)

CQ's squash inspired me and I got squash in my organic box yesterday too. So veggies roasted in rosemary and thyme with rice and a sauce (?) for later.
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

You two make me laugh and have really cheered me up with your posts the last couple of days :D

Don't worry Racy, I'm still sat here in jim-jams and dressing gown too, but they're just too cosy to take off

All I've done so far today is put the BM on, watch Emmerdale omnibus (whilst browsing here of course ;) ) and sort of half fed the animals LOL!

Oh, and I did hang up some washing that has been in the WM 2 days :o

More :coffee: needed me thinks :D

Still in PJs and big fluffy slipper boots and plan to be for the rest of day until I go out for food tonight. Had some Lentil dahl (thanks CQ) from the freezer last night and theres still some left so thats lunch (have to say though I thought it was chilli beef when I took it out  must find a good way to label my freezer stuff)
  • Hi everyone,

Just a quick post. I'm having a fab today and thought I would tell you all. I passed my driving test !!! :) I'm so pleased - it was my 5th go and I only got 3 minor faults. I feel all giddy.
This afternoon I'm going to look at cars with my boyfriend as he's just got a new job and won't be able to drive me to and from work all the time now.
Have to go now - I'm off to tell my mum and dad the good news :)

Thank you CQ (((((((HUGS))))))) (and thanks for the wine last night, didn't mean to finish it all for you, sorry Hunicon11.gif)
There's hope for me yet then!! Had about 4 x :coffee: then took Sammy, (little pooch neighbour I've been adopted by) for a good long walk round the local parks. His poor little legs just about survived it icon10.gif

Well Nelski? You wanted to know what my excuse was? I slipped out to get some more wine last night (having helped CQ with hers icon12.gif) and was whisked of my feet by a tall handsome stranger......... Not icon9.gif

Sammy spent most of last week staying with me while his folks were away, he went home yesterday and I missed him He snores you see icon7.gif. That was why I overslept this morning icon11.gif

Otherwise I'm being an idle mare today. Computer is playing up something rotten so I'm about to go do nasty scarey things to it..... I may be some time  Please forward mail to the techie board for a bit... (Or send squeaks icon12.gif)

Congrats Starlorna, that is great news hope the car hunting went well icon10.gif

Nelski don't they have tools for that? ermmmm, Pens? :rotfl:

Chipps, Culpepper, TM You made me feel less of an idle mare than I usually do, thanks icon7.gif And Miss Marple, I think we bought our clocks at the same shop icon11.gif

Penny Pincher, glad you had a good night.icon7.gif

Queenie, Do you need some help eating those chestnuts? YUM!icon10.gif

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday icon7.gif

Right.... can I go back to bed now then? icon6.gif
