Reminder:Clocks go back one hour tonight!(well, 2am Sunday to be precise):hello: Gooooooood Morning
It's been a very "interesting" week in Queenie-Land and I'm almost (I said, almost) glad that it is over!
The plans I had made for Half Term had to be given a bit of a reshuffle but, ultimately, we have spent some time:-
foraging (chestnuts :j ) = a trip to the woods proved very "fruitful"
pumpkin searching/carving (3 down, 2 to go)
sewing/rugging
I have completely moved/rearranged/decluttered: 2 bedrooms, dining room, lounge and ...... :shhh: b.a.t.h.roomwe don't mention the "b" word this week or next
:silenced:
Overcame yet another family crisis midweek and finally
at the farm shop I was given an EGGcellent OS "tip" by a wonderful character who had overheard the boys and I talking (going to put it to the test and will get back to you on that one)
I feel I've "earned" the weekend off - LOL - (for me that means, crafting) the boys are keen to complete their HM Halloween decs/costumes so that will be the main theme of the weekend and I really enjoy "helping"

Morning
Slept really well last night :j Stayed in yesterday and think this helped.
The SC pot needs cleaning this morning which OH will have to do as too heavy for me  did a nice lamb stew in it yesterday and was scrummy-gave 2 large portions to the in-laws to take back with them when they dropped back DD after swimming.
Not enough dirty washing to put WM on todayOH & DD popping out this morning for an hour or so and want to tidy out my drawers in pine dresser in lounge-so will give it a bash..lol. OH will have to lift them out but I can do the rest. House is clean with cleaner being here yesterday.
There is a craft & xmas fair on in one of the local schools, so DD would like to go there. Its at noon, so may and try get out to that. Its wheelchair friendlt so should be ok. Then we are round BIL for dinner tonight and we only have to take a bottle of red with uscouteosy or Lidls £2.65-its a lovely wine. They have quite alot of dosh and OH brother is soooo boastful, but we soon put him in his place...lol. Money is nice but not necessarry to be happy IYKWIM. Him & his wife arent close and do everything and anything to be apart or be out socialising together with their kids-we think its so sad.
Anyways, I have to go eat something. Breakie is porridge. Lunch is cheese/ham toasties and dinner?????? Will take snacks with me to keep energy up.
Have a great day.

Morning!! Im so glad I dont have to go to work today, I have a massive amount of cleaning and laundry etc so im having my morning cuppa before I crack on with it.
Already checked the mail and had a letter from the blood service, im ready to donate again so made an appt for the 10th November, and im off work that day so I can go stress free and have the boyf drive me back as im bound to fall asleep early!
I dont have much else to say except that im still annoyed with work for moving me and telling me at 4.55pm, and Next have annoyed me as they posted out my MP3 player on the 10th, I havent recieved it yet, and they dont have any in stock so they cant send me a replacement. Its so frustrating!!

Morning everyone...specially to Penny Pincher, I am so glad you got a decent sleep at long last, it's amazing what a difference it can make.
Today is the day I am going to get a new kitty - I still miss my angels Henry and Baba who both died this year, but I have to think of Tabitha who is still with us in this world. She's old - about 18 - and has never been single before, so she's getting hubbie number four today (she was originally paired with Oscar who died seven years ago).
The heavens have opened here in N.Ireland, it's absolutely chucking it down. I didn't quite manage to strim my garden yesterday and put it off until today, but I don't think I will bother.
I have no washing to do, yippee! Though I have lots of tidying up to do, as I am a very messy person and find it hard to tidy as I go along.
Last night I made a lovely tomato sauce with tinned toms, onions, garlic, celery and dried herbs - this will last for ages and ages as I made loads. I think I will put some in the freezer. I'm guilty of underusing the freezer, and instead often put up with eating the same thing for dinner three days on the trot.
I have some book-work to do later for my Sociology - I am really enjoying the subject so it's not difficult at all to keep up with it.
That's it, have a fantastic Saturday everyone.

Morning all,
Isn't it amazing what a good nights sleep can do? My youngest DD (2) has now slept all night for three nights in a row! I feel like I'm almost human again :rotfl:
Today is house cleaning day  so we can enjoy tomorrow before going back to school/work on Monday. I can't decide whether to get DDs up to help, or leave them to have a lie in.
Youngest DD is watching over my shoulder as I type shouting "that looks like my Daddy" at the picture of Martin  :snow_laug HM Christmas 2010
