I don't know what I would do if I only had an LCD widescreen like the late DD and not a 50" plasma. I just might do the same thing.
If that's the criteria, I should have done it ages ago ... £50 15" portable TV from Lidl here!

You may have missed the original title of the thread and it certainly wasn't funny when the thread was started.

Yes I only saw what is there now.

It must have been dreadful the first time.

In all honesty, people ost here soundin really desperate then people are utterly vile to them, who knows how they feel or what they feel like oing to themselves after a thourough dressing down from one sie or t'other here. Its all a bit agressive at times. The version thats above now made me laugh at myself.

And the post was phrased differently, it wasn't obvious it was a joke at all. On the first page, the original post is quoted about half way down if you want to read it.

Not funny Private Mainwairing. I also note that DD has now changed the thread title.

Shouldn't it be in the Cookery forum now ? Mods, wake up !!! :D

  • I think this thread should be deleted or locked. It's now making those of us who were concerned or offering advice, look stupid.

It was certainly no joke when the thread started and I can assure you that I have a very good sense of humour.

It may look funny now, but it didn't at the start.
I am a Mortgage Consultant and don't like to be told what I can and can't put in a signature so long as it's legal and truthful.

I don't mind. At least if I've made myself look stupid, it means I've had a head start on the others ...

Thanks, I glossed over it :o an yes I think the word depression in connection with the rest does make it imply something rather different.

    My apologies.
