Well I thought that DD's original post was very tongue in cheek and was quite funny (can't help my sense of humour). At first when I saw the topic I thought it was something to do with an invention very akin to George Foreman's Mean Man Grilling Machine.

I read with interest later postings and nearly choked on my coffee when I read about rippling muscles and drooling women - do women drool? I haven't come across one yet that does. We might go "phwoarrrrr look at the six pack on that" but that's about it:rotfl:

Yes they do. {Unfortunately}, it's for people like Nadal, Roberto Donadoni, Niko Kranjcar, Totti etc :rotfl:

I drool, but only when sleeping* on trains. If you see me doing it, could you give me a prod?

*Not sure whether I am dreaming about DD when this happens. Will try and remember and report back.

I got to page 3 of this nonsense and stopped reading.

It's a website, not your family lined up in front of you to debate with. Anyone on here could be posting a whole load of tosh just to wind you up.

Quite frankly, some of the people who got wound up over this need help not the OP.

Everyone, remember you don't know me, I don't know you. John Major could be on here pretending to be a 50 year old woman called Gladys who lives in a council flat on benefits with no money. Anyone can say anything.

I got quite annoyed recently on here and went away and thought about it......... have you?

I am all for debate, but not people actually getting the real life hump over words on a screen. It's not normal.

I had a client who died while Mountain Biking the weekend he completed on his house purchase.

£175000 mortgage on a £200000 house. He was earning £70000 a year, his partner worked part time for her own spending money on £5000. No kids.

For weeks before the exchange of contracts I was asking him to book an appointment to sort out the life assurance.

He WANTED the life assurance, but just wanted to get the purchase out of the way and was busy at work.

I told him the risks of exchanging contracts without Building Insurance or Life Assurance, but the Building Insurance was a condition that he had some for him to exchange.

He went Mountain Biking while his partner and her mum were getting the house tidy and broke his neck.

I suppose, Private Mainwairing, that I am more concerned about not getting my commission eh?

What a sanctimonious post. Please tell me are you a professional victim?
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

    Hi

Gloomy and Doomy this board maybe but this thread (above) is an example of someone who is happy to receive a slice of reality. There is no excuse for rudeness IMHO but reality is what it is, what ever way it is served up.

Indeed, I think you'll find that this forum is no different from any others that are related to house prices (and thus economics) try this one:- http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/

But I also draw your attention to this thread too

I don't see how it could be taken as sanctimonious, but I can assure you that I'm not a professional victim. More a professional who helps victims.
I am a Mortgage Consultant and don't like to be told what I can and can't put in a signature so long as it's legal and truthful.
