yummy mummy amy - your pots of gold are fantastic, they look gorgeous in the organza fabric, so expensive looking :T:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

Stitched a Xmas cross stitch design last week and couldn't find a coloured frame to put it in so I bought a plain wooden one, sanded it a bit and painted it with red acrylic paint...

My OH says he can't read what is says so if you're struggling it is "Tis The Season To Be Jolly". I added a bit of knotted rik-rak ribbon to 2 of the corners of the frame to give it a bit of dimension. The "I" of Tis is 'dotted' with a red star button so I haven't used glass in the frame.
What do you think...? If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Great cross stitch Rainmac!
Yesterday I had a cross stitch panic as I have so much of it to get done for things. I've only finished one pressie and one card!! Nearly finished my robin but I really need to get my fingers moving hehe.
Will share the robin when he is done naturally!
Keep crafting xxx:beer: Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0
