  • wohhoo finally the end! I just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone for inspiring me with their ideas. I have spent the last 3 days reading threads to get ideas for christmas and if I'm honest had to start skipping through just looking at pics otherwise I think christmas would have past me by!

Well I haven't got long and I plan to make
    personalised calenders
personalised wine glasses with homemade sweets
    salt christmas decs
    wheat bags
    sock monkeys
    shortbread
    spiced vinegar
    family tree squash books
    fudge
    flavoured vodka
    cookie jars
    pontipines
and with the homemade sweet things gonna make them into indulge hampers
    for the aunties/uncles
Blimey MUST stop reading and go get started!

Following your threads re pots of gold, journal jars etc I've decided to do a little envelope for each of our guests at the table for christmas lunch
    • teabag (so you can sit back and relax)
    • glitter, to make your christmas sparkle
    • STAR to remind you that you are
    • angel sequin, to look after you
    • popper(so Xmas goes with a bang)
    • Pepperments - to settle the tummy from overindulging
    • smiley face sticker (smile, tis the season to be jolly).
    • Bath oil or bubble bath to soothe the weary body
    • Paracetamol - to take away the headache of overdoing things
    • Packet of mixed spice or curry/chilli powder something to spice up your life
    • MARBLES: In case you lose yours.
    • Crayon – to “color” all your days bright and sunny
    • A pack of seeds – may all your dreams grow like a garden
    • Kit Kat – for when it’s time to take a “break”
    • Mint: You are worth a mint to your family and friends
    • Cake sprinkles--to shower you with a rainbow of happiness
Tried to edit title but can't...sorry, should be Christmas...too much wine at lunch now wobbly fingers

this was just what I was thinking!!

i have a vision of either a book made out of a squash (as in butternut squash!) or a book that has been sat on by an elephant and has been flattened!!!

    very intrigued!!

I've had a go at making some Christmas cards today as not really seen any in the shops that I really like!!! Only made 5 but I'm quite pleased with how they turned out.

Here they are (light not so good when I took the pics!!)

Got a question, would people recommend glue guns as I found it difficult to get things to stick today using PVA glue.

    Thanks
