Hi everyone sorry not been around recently but I have been so busy. I have still got approx 20 projects, some started, to get done for christmas. I aim to get myself organised next week and to get my parcels off to America and then I can focus on presents for here. 4 grandbabies to knit and sew for etc. I am knitting and felting bags and slippers and I am also knitting facecloths along with knitted toys rag dolls handmade quilts...... the list goes on. For this year I have made about 50 presents so it's been busy but great.

  • Wow! Everyone's bits are looking so great.

Today I made the first of my Christmas pressies - three big wire flowers for my brother's new flat with his girlfriend. They're into colour in a BIG way so I used brightly coloured carrier bags and melted them around wire frames, wound all the petals together into a flower shape and used big, bright buttons on wire as the stamens. Now I just need to make them into a bouquet and put them in a vase closer to the time.
