Mum & Dad, Middle brother & Fiance - Dinner Party for max 10 people (really cheeky as it is only for the cooking & serving, they have to pay the food cost)
Youngest Brother (returning from Auz to live with parents) - Romantic night in voucher (I cook & serve a meal at my flat (the pays th food cost) & then i go & stay at mum & Dads for the night)
Best Friend & works secret santa (both have 2 kids & no time to herself) - Baby sitting vouchers
We also do secret santa for mums side of the family so that helps with the cost.
I also take any leftovers from my dinner into to work & sell it to my boss who is not the best cook, so I end up eating for free/very low cost as he has no idea of the cost & it would only go in the bin (I can't cope with the same meal twice in a row & I really struggle to cook for 1!
Merry Christmas to one & All
I can't believe your boss buys your leftovers! This is strange, but very clever.
ps. if you can't cook for one, but want to keep it, maybe you could freeze the rest so you don't need to eat it the next day.0 -
Ooooo socks.. now there's an idea! My Mum doesn't need any more flannels (lol) but always lovely fluffy socks!
What do I need to search for on eBay? 'Giant cup cake cases'? :rotfl:
Sorry don't know how to post a link
Hope that helps. Mariae0 -

That books lovely isn't it Sian? I saw it in Borders on one of my hours spent looking through the crafty books. I might drop some hints in the run up to Christmas.
My little robins that I'm making as Christmas decorations are quite like these!0 -

this is going to sound daft but could you type the word "sparkle" in a nice font and cover with glitter? if you have a laminator you could put it through that so it keeps (as long as glittler isnt too thick and glue is dry).due to spilling coffee :coffee: on my keyboard it works when it wants to :rotfl:
