I thought I would post photos of the two snowman cross stitch pictures I have made. I started them years ago and have never got round to framing them but WILL this year! I have just looked at the date at the bottom and it says 2002:eek: that is shocking!

Also, how much is blackboard paint? sounds like a really cool idea, but im guessing its expensive as you would have to buy a large tub of it?

Ohh i feel so christmassy but cant do anything today as i have my grandad over pulling up the floorbords because of woodworm in the living room!! he said its the worst case he had ever seen
Tried to do some more snowman soups but the house was shaking so the cocoa was going everywhere haha

  • they're really pretty, well done! What did you put inside them?

I grated two bars of lavender soap from superdrug, and made pouches of these to go inside the main bit. Thanks for saying they're pretty I'm really pleased with them :o

I painted some MDF hearts with blackboard paint and used as tags (but then they can be used for decoration in a kitchen or somewhere). I got my paint from Wickes - about £4.50 I think. I think Wilkos sell it and other DIY places.

    HTH :D

Wow bunbun, they are fantastic, make sure you frame them. Are you going to keep them or give them as pressies? They are so beautiful, I love them :j

I made them for my two boys! 6 years on they are probably not so keen on the snowman but if they don't want them I will keep them for myself:rotfl:

  • If anyone fancies joining me I think I am going to make some of these after finding this book in my local library. I think even I can sew some felt together (ooh tempting fate there eh?)
