    Hi Everyone!

I'm back from visiting my family! Had a wonderful meal (in which I was totally embarrassed by them singing happy birthday and being presented which a load of balloons!)
Anyway as I only got back yesterday all the crafts are on hold. I've finished all those reindeer for my mums school and they have now gone (thankfully!) and so all I have left to make is 4 bottles of flavoured vodka (easy peasy) and a few cross stitching projects (not so easy peasy!) However today is pay day and so I should be able to buy the threads I need now to finish those projects.

    Getting there :D

yummysmummy fantastic bauble, sorry to hear of the sore thumbs though - only 13 to go. LOL
bunbun love the reindeer and the yule log. I just wondered sometimes in pound shops they sell table decorations or the plastic candle rings for very little, some of the time they have plastic holly and bits of greenery on. You may be able to cut bits off for more yule logs for your £1.
sophiesmum what a fantastic brainwave. It looks brilliant, she's going to just love it.

Thanks everyone who has contributed in this thread - some great ideas and inspiration! Just a heads up for anyone still looking for jars (clip top style) - found some glass ones in Tesco today. Two sizes - 0.5l scan at £1.25. However, the 1l ones scan at just 44p!! The barcode is 5010853075914. They are Ravenhead Kilner clip top glass storage, and were with the other glass jars etc on the cooking isle.

Another store closeby had none (only the smaller ones) so not sure whether they were clearance and already been snapped up...but worth looking out for!

Had some luck today - large serving bowls with either Santa or Rudolph designs in my local pound shop. Thought they would be good for my movie 'hampers'.

Starting to get really excited now and it's still only October!

Was in Tesco's tonight and they had fab chrome wire baskets for £1.27. Would be great for a pamper basket. They had loads there.

I was just going to really show off and say 'I've done all my crafting' :T

Then realised I'd forgot to do cobweb chaser (gardening glove on a pole.....lol)..............got the gloves, just need OH to find me two poles..........then I can have one as well as my friend.
And............not yet done grandaughters handbag pegs...............
so....shame on me for attempting to show off............and back to the drawing board...............:rotfl:
