I'm making a sock monkey for my boyfriends stocking for Christmas (not that I've made that yet either) but I can only make it while he's out the house as the only place for the sewing machine is the dining table and the computer is in the same room! I started last Sunday and had got quite far and was quite pleased with myself. When he came home I quickly hid all the evidence, except for the instructions on the computer, which of course he saw. He said he has a memory like a sieve but I was really disappointed that it's not a surpise anymore!

He doesn't know that I plan to make the monkey some minature caving clothes though (as we're both keen potholers!), as long as I can get hold of some spare material for them anyway. I have a patching kit for the oversuit I wear underground, which should be fine, as long as I don't need to mend mine anytime soon anyway!

I really need to get cracking with making everything else on my list though!

  • babykat - love the charms, ive tried beading recently and have managed to create a few nice necklaces and things...i have had a few mishaps though where ill let go of the thread and the beads fly everywhere undoing all my hard work! that really annoys me and i get fed up and leave it for a few days! haha

finished all my christmas cross stitches now...putting the finishing touches to my pots of gold and still compiling my cruise hamper for my parents.

eeeeee, christmas is just round the corner! whoop whoop! :D
2015 - I am determined to lose at least 3 stone in weight and I must pay off at least one of my credit cards...If I keep telling myself, I might start believing it!!! :D
