    Can anyone help me out?

I want to use fimo to make some xmas decorations/gift tags but have no experience using the stuff:

    1. Can I write on the fimo once it is baked?

    2. How strong is the fimo once it has baked?

    3. Does the fimo crumble?

Any help really really appreciated! :)

Fimo is a lot like clay. It is pretty hard once it is cooked. You could write on it with a marker easily. It is brittle because.. well.. it is just like clay!! So if dropped it would crumble

    HTH xx

I picked up a CUTE little wooden reindeer from Hobby Craft for 99p so I actually bought two, one for each of the kids to hold the reindeer food until christmas eve :)

I covered my shapes in patterned paper and sanded to get a good finish:

Thanks PinkLadyMel!! I will give it a go and see what happens -heaven forbid!!

Love the reindeer - so cute!!! what have you put between the 2 reindeer as the main 'sleigh' bit??

Also love the page - did you distress the paper or was it already like that? i tend to go for clean cut sharp lines looks in my pages but would love to have a go at distressed!!

The paper was already like that. The green cardstock wasn't, I sanded it :D I got it free from the new issue of creativity life!

The reindeer sleigh was complete like that. It is so cute. You could fill it with sweets and wrap it in cellophane!

I bought some lovely christmas see through sequins from Poundland and mixed them with porridge oats to make reindeer food. I sweep them away afterwards though so the birds don't eat it :s but you can use other things.

The bell was a strand of christmas thing on elastic.

Scrapbooking is traditionally 12x12 and that is the size I scrap in. I like to do other sizes sometimes though. You should upload some of your work :)
