Just done a little verse to put in my friends journal - thought I'd add it here in case it helps anyone - and for suggestions

Take this book and a question
And stick it oon a page
Think with care -then answer it
Do each one, stage by stage

When it's done read through it
See a picture of yourself
Of who you were, what you are now
Then put it on a shelf.

No-one needs to see it
Unless you want them to
Learn all about the things in life
That have made a special ''you''

What questions are you putting in the journal jar?

Oh eck............can''t remember them all now..............lol I just typed out a lot of things like 'what was favourite toy when she was small', favourite subject at school, religion, stuff like that. I had to be a bit careful as she's had some tragic incidents that I know about very well and have had to avoid some areas so I don't bring up negative thoughts if yu know what I mean.
I've tried to make it positive and fun to do.

A lot of the things mentioned on the Thought for Today thread would be good - I have used some of those

That's great Mary thanks... was thinking it might be something nice for my mum for the hamper... might help me maybe learn something new about her like and help us be a bit closer (if she chooses to share it that is lol)

Hi everyone,
I haven't posted before, but have been 'lurking' for about a week reading all the wonderful ideas that so many of you have posted already. You are so friendly, its like a family on here - yesterday couldn't get on our computer (oh turn) and really missed hearing what you had all been doing.

I too have been making lists and christmas now seems much more manageable this year, - if I have enough time to make everything that is!

Just a quick question, I have a 13 year old son who I think may benefit from a Journal jar (has had a few anger problems in the past) but wanted to know what you all think - is it too girly a present for a boy? How could I make it more boyish?

sheyo - hello, i would make one if you think he would like it, is there anyway you could make it a bit manly lol, i know what i mean, lol doews he have a favorite football team maybe you could use a jar with his team on, and someone not sure who or if it was on here or on the gift in a jar thread but they also put some sweeties in it as well, hth although i'm not sure i really helped at all lol
