Hey everyone!
Well thanks to all your fantastic crafting ideas and great pictures, my list is growing longer and longer!
I thought I'd just make a few things this year but other newbies are putting me to shame, lol!
Thanks again mary43 for your post, hope you're feeling better! My camera's broken at the moment (just has blank screen) and was told it would cost £100 to fix  at that price it can stay broken. Maybe one will appear in my xmas stocking
crazychatter I like your list, my friend gave me some hand decorated wine glasses last year they look stunning, loving the spiced coffee recipe too!
brookeslay I also like the soap kebabs, I might try making these for my friend's birthday, which is two days before xmas.
Oh and hello to gloomgurlie:hello:
SeaBee those letterboxes are great, I might have to get those too.
yummy-mummy-amy your Disney cushions are adorable I may have to take up sewing after all, lol.
Like Sian the green I'm having trouble knowing what to get the men in my family, they're always difficult to buy for. All I can think of making so far is retro sweets in a tin and a jar of quotes but I know you've come up with loads more than that on here!
Thanks for the candy cane price update Squishy, I should get to Tesco's before they're all gone!
Best wishes to all.

Magic - feeling a bit better today thanks. Even had my hair done ............lol Well I'd made the appointment and was fingers crossed I didn't cough throughout causing some kind of mayhem of a haircut...............lol
So, much better day - till tea time when the oldest of out cats came in with what looked like a bit of a gash on its side so straight down to the vets - turns out she's a bit of an 'itchy' cat now she's old and has had an injection to stop her scratching ............plus antibiotics just in case an infection starts on the place she's already scratched. So, £67 later  I got home for dinner....................lol
Still loads of christmas bits to do though have done 'safe keeping' jar for grandson and started on another sock snowman............lol
Now I need to find a jar that'll suit grandaughter for a 'safe keeping' pressieMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

oh and thought i would share this recipe for simple truffles i was given by a friend on another internet forum...
Chocolate Truffles
400g (14oz) Dark Chocolate finely chopped
3/4 cup (180 ml/6 fl oz) single or pouring cream
Coco powder sifted for dusting
Place the chocolate and cream in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Pour the chocolate mixture into a 15x18 cm dish lined with non-stick baking paper
Place in the fridge for 2 - 3 hours or until set
Roll teaspoons of the mixture into balls and dust with the coco powder
Et voila! Simple
Thanks!

Oh no Mary, your poor cat, and wow what a vet's bill, just before Xmas too  My OH shut our cat's tail in the front door - by accident of course! That cost about £150 in vet's bills. He's well worth it though and his tail is fine now.
Sorry to hear your cough is still bothering you. You must be feeling pretty fed up with it. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
