play it up as much as possible mary- chick flicks, lying on the couch with a blanket etc

I got my bath bomb/salt stuff through today, was very exciting. Have done 2 jars of christmas bath salts (made with a mix or christmas morning and cinnamon and orange fragrance) a load of lavender salts with dried lavender in it, lavender bath bombs which are a bit too oily but other than that are ok, and some vanilla bath bombs too

I am so proud of myself.

Just need to work on some labels etc and need some more bicarbonate of soda to make some more! Am on a roll

Ooops............just reminded me I got some labels to do.................doing one for my sock snowman. Ended up making a bottom from about half a loo roll and the head from one rolled up flannel.
So label is going to be something like

    Look inside this snowman
    And you may likely find
Something there to wipe your face
    Also for your behind !

    Any other ideas wecome............................lol

does anyone know how to do the flannels so they look like flowers? was wanting to do a bouquet with socks for christmas eve (wanted to get everyone some nice pj's from primark, those fluffy socks and a dvd for all of us to watch together) any other ideas for christmas eve? I wont get there until about half 9 at night and we usually open our presents after midnight mass (Even if i will miss it lol) so thought it would be nice to have a dvd on before and everyone in pjs and socks for the pics

My socks rolled up look a bit like flowers anyway - I rolled the flat side as the bottom and used the heel side as the "petals" as it kind of sticks up a bit. Am sure someone will be along shortly who can give you proper pointers.

How do you attach the socks to the stems?

paddington - it was a bit of a last minute idea really...........felt I couldn;t just give someone a snowman made of a sock - what would they do with it (apart from think I've completely lost all my marbles) but it was stuffed with useful stuff ................lol
Label now priinted off (well words anyway) now need to find nice image of snowman with red hat (top of the sock if red check!)

Also printed out dosage instructions for my Chill Pills and Shopaholic Pills............another pill bottle now empty and soaking for another Chill Pill label.................just need tic-tacs to fill them up.

Because they're in my tablet bottles and one has got a few tic tacs in already I nearly took one the other morning by mistake............pmsl:rotfl:

  • Hi all,

Not sure if this has already been mentioned but I'm going to make a bouquet of different fruits, different skewers presented like a bouquet of flowers, some chocolate dipped and some not.

Love the pineapple daisies. My mum has just had her gall bladder out and is finding she can't eat anything high in fat so I was trying to think of an alternative to a homemade hamper.

Apparently these stay fresh for up to 10 days if kept in the fridge with some water in the bottom of the mug and you can just pick out a stick whenever you fancy it. A healthy alternative for people like me who don't want to put on so much weight this Christmas :D

I think i'll need to practice a bit though.
