lol, ben (my OH) is feeling all famous now...

do you want the ribbon as a decorative item or as a gift??

Dont know why I am asking since i have no clue but something may come to me

My OH is called Ben too but that hasn't made him appreciate my Christmas efforts - he thinks I'm bonkers!!

I was thinking of a decorative idea for the ribbon but gift ideas would be great too - I'm basically looking for inspiration and a good use for red ribbon.

brookeslay thanks for all your help and ideas. The candle idea sounds good, although I need to get my brain in gear - I'm a simple soul and usually need to see a picture! I wasn't planning on doing anything with fleece blankets but I must say that lion cushion is so cute ...

    Thankyou

The individual napkin rings sounds a lovely idea and you could add a name tag to each one as a place setting.:j

If you made the wreath you could add sweets as I remember someone on here making one to use indoors.

Or try making a meduim one as a candle ring base. If you built up the centre piece decorated with fresh flowers and a church candle placed around the base of a Hurricane Lanterns to really spruce up a table display.

Also you can buy plain willow wreaths thread the ribbon around it and then tie little heart shapes or stars to make a more homespun vibe.

    Use this for inspiration

Finally I found this link for no sew fleece cushion/pillow. If it was done to meet your blanket and maybe personalised too , they would make a lovely gift.

That pillow is gorgeous, thanks for posting the link :D

    Hi

I was wonderng if you could tell me which recipe you use for your bath salts,a s I have been hunting through the threads for ages now and cannot find a tried and tested recipe.

    Many thanks
    Jo

I've used this lemon bath salts 'recipe' lots of times this year and it's been great each time. I've got epsom salts from ebay as I couldn't find any locally.

I'm going to have a go at the chocolate cake salts recipe on this site too.

I bought wooden scoops from a local kitchen shop and more recently from ebay. 10 for £5.10 delivered. Great price but only if you intend to use all of them ;)
