I like the pots of gold idea. Might be tempted to do something similar myself if I can get the bits together nice and cheap. Might end up being mugs / cups of gold though. Usually easy to find a cheap mug or three loafing around.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

What do the tags say?
Thank you! The pots of gold say...
Here’s a little pot of gold
A festive nibble too
I hope it will make
All of your dreams come true
Have a very merry Christmas
From me to you!

The ball of life says...
Suffering from stress:
Fondle it constantly
Need to relieve your anger:
Throw it at someone
Short of a massage:
Roll it around the bottom of your feet
Lack of communication in your life:
Tell it your inner most secrets
Short of a good friend:
Paint a smiley face on it
Need some unconditional love:
Throw it at a wall, it will always come back to you
Want to be less selfish:
Lend it to someone when you are not using it
Want to be more aware of others, want to become more thoughtful:
Look after your ball, try to understand how it feels to be kicked about,
stood on and given away and abused
Want to be less judgemental:
Be happy with this gift, it’s the thought that counts

I read somewhere that glitter can be harful to birds so to use sugar instead. I found sugar crystals in Tesco so the coloured bits are bigger than using normal granulated sugar. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

Hi Maria
They are beautiful, doubt anyone will put the kind of effort into any of my christmas gifts that we have all been putting in :rotfl:0 -

Do you know I've thought about that this weekend:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
I also love the red and green dots one Maria! I think they look fab!
Rainmac I love all the different bits you have done, you're so clever!
I'm slowly getting organised. The only things I have left to make is 4 cross stitch presents, my cards and 4 bottle of flavoured vodka. Although I can't remember the amount of sweets you put in 70cl of vodka. Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -
My offspring have friends with offspring & I've suggested they give them the sacks of reindeer food. Just thinking if I would put those 12p[?] sugar strands in instead of paying for the sugar granules
Also wondering if the Pots of Gold could be adapted into a Treasure Chest, with those candy necklaces & jelly sweetie rings...any ideas guys?Full time Carer for Mum; harassed mother of three;loving & loved by two 4-legged babies.
