I think Costco usually do some very nice ones like this for around £20 - if you know anyone with a membership :)

I'm doing the retro sweets for a few of my friends but rather than the craft/tool boxes a few people are using I got plastic lunch boxes like you used to take to primary school and am going to fill them up!

I'm doing retro sweets in glass jars for 2 men; in tool box things for 3 men and kiddies sweets in metal lunch tins for my two little men :D I got my jars from Ikea, tool boxes from Wickes (they are only diddy) and lunch tins from Asda in sale for £1.50 but they are now selling them for 75p! Can't wait to get cracking on the sweets, one for the jar, one for me... :rotfl:

  • This is my first attempt at a candy wreath. Its just awaiting its big red bow. As its my first attempt i'll be donating this to the hospital my mum works at for the staff.

Total cost was about £5 or £6

Thats great bravobeastie! Does the wire go through the actual chocolate or just through the end of the wrapper? Would love to give this a go!!

  • With this one i used toffees (cause of the festive colours and the fact they were cheap from the co-op lol)

Its suprisingly easy but a wee bit fiddly. I followed the instructions from this video:

    For anyone near Camberley.

Discovered a fantastic shop (well didn't really discover it as its been there for years and i remember going in there with my mum when i was little!). Its the 'Thread Emporium' on the A30. I popped in to get some red cross stitch thread for cushions i'm doing for my son.

They've got card bits/scrapbook bits/cross stitch bits/fabric/buttons etc etc. Really was fab :) Its a tiny shop so don't go with a buggy if you can help it lol.

    HTH someone
    Slightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....
