Awwww thanks everyone for the lovely comments!
Rainmac - I have to admit I've had a busy week trying to get everything done. Don't feel like I've sat down hehe. Although to be fair it was a coincidence that the cross stitch was finished in the same week. Hoping to start my second no sew blanket today. Me and the other half are going shopping next weekend and so I'll probably end up getting more stuff for making pressies. I've got 3 french memo boards to make as well as cross stitching my Christmas cards and I've got 2 cross stitches to do as well!! Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -

I looked it up on the web and it was £42 for 70cl
Rainmac.. its crazy... I love doing big pictures..but get bored doing small x stitches..the lady has lots of blending etc -but no fractionals
Im sad.. I get all excited when I like a kit that has the threads in bundles so I have to sort them out -im sure i must need therapy :rotfl:

Hi all. first post here, but in the last 3 days I have read this thread from beginning to end. I have somegreat ideas buzzing around my head to do for xmas and will be starting asap.
One Idea I am making yet dont think i read on here was wheat bags. I am going to make them for my parents and the kids of the family. All I have to do is find a shop that sells wheat whole. think farmers market will be my beast bet. Also need to find a neighbour/friend with lavender in their garden.
Well done to you all, all the pics of things are amazing. I am so jealous. I'm not really crafty but going to have a go
Thanks again for all the ideas

Hi all!
Yep the other half had a great birthday! He was really thrilled with his pressies especially Eddy! Although I was stupid and brought him an Xbox Live membership and he has nothing nothing but play on it since hehe. Although that has its pluses as it has given me time to unpick the overlocking on my other 4 blankets so they are ready to cut tomorrow yay! Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0
