Pinkladymel - sorry I was having a dense moment - I hadn't noticed you had already posted a link. I just had a quick scroll through your blog, and OMG - your stuff is gorgeous! I am very new to scrapbooking, I have only done a little mini book kit so far, but I loved it. I've just had loads of photos developed so that I can do some more. Do you tend to buy kits, or individual pieces. There are so many products out there, I am finding it really hard to choose which to go for - they're all so gorgeous. I could spend a fortune! I have got a few bits, but I think I need to stock up on embellishments - buttons, ribbons, flowers etc. Have you got any favourite online shops that you use. Sorry to ask you so many questions, but I am really in awe of your work!
Thanks Melissa75 I am glad you liked my work that is such a wonderful thing to say :T <Me excited LOL. I save all my birthday/christmas money and buy about.. 100 pounds of stuff at a time:o I get my scrapbooking stuff from America at amillionlittlethings.com because I make such a big order, the huge postage costs is justified because everything is about 50% cheaper from there. In the UK, I like craftsuperstore.co.uk and craftobsessions.co.uk. I get loads of items from QVC too. I think this is an awesome deal for ribbons:http://www.qvcuk.com/ukqic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/params.item.587425 and you can use quidco too:D

Thanks so much for sharing x
That is the nicest post I ever had thank you so much x My husband unexpectedly went from a professional wrestler to being wheelchair bound overnight. We were told to have any children we wanted straight away because the operation to fix him can become available anytime and has a high risk of paralysis, but we would have had our kids already saving one worry. That is why we just appreciate life and being greatful to be together and here so much and for you to say our children are gorgeous just means loads to me because they are my everything.
life story over
Thanks x:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -
Awwww I'm so glad you guys like my blanket! I love it! I'm really chuffed with how it went and tying the knots didn't take as long as I thought it would, although when tying the strips that ran the way the fleece ran it pulled a little more so I had to be a bit gentle. The longest thing was the cutting of the strips. This blanket is for me and the other half and he loves it. I think I may have to make him one for his "man room" (known to everyone else as the spare room but he has his xbox and his warhammer in there and is as happy as a pig in you know what hehe)
I haven't stuffed anything in it, it is just the two fleeces but it is still pretty thick and lovely to snuggle under (especially as it chucking it down with rain) And yes these fleeces came from Primark and cost the pricely sum of £2 each! Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -
I can't believe there is nothing in them it looks like a snuggly light duvet - How romantic! My husband is either on 360 or painting warhammer too lol how funny
Now I know someone who can share my pain
