How funny! Does your other half have masses of plastic bits all over the place?
The other night (bless him) he described to me in depth about the new army he is working on. All I could tell you about it (from what I understood) was that they are red devil looking things! And he just brought himself a birthday pressie of some tanks to transport them in or something! Saving hard for a brighter future!:beer:0 -
Siren I love it I bought some fabric whilst in America at the beginning of year. I have bought dark green and stripy for reverse in winter/christmas colours. I have made a few before and will make more so I bought myself a new tool to help with the cutting... http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp?CATID=cat3438&PRODID=prd24425&source=search Mine wasn't this expensive and I did use a 40% discount coupon so it was a good price, about £6 I think. As yet I haven't used it but will be in the next few weeks. My daughter has one and loves it.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

I think that sounds like the Khorne army Siren.. Lee is working on the Chaos possesed army at the moment (Do I sound like I know what I am on about yet?). He is always telling me about the history of the armies and I try to be so interested but it is just one thing that makes me drift off
Has your partner ever been here: www.arcaneminiatures.co.uk Lee went there one day and he fell in love with the figures there. He is painting a soulgrinder atm.
Right im boring myself now so I bet you're like.. yada yada yada
Seths gran I think that took looks really useful I can't wait to see what you come up with - it sounds so festive:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -

It's a cashback site: www.quidco.com
Basically you can use quidco to visit other sites and use their websites. For example, I went through quidco to use play.com yesterday and got something like 2% of my purchase in cashback. You have to wait for the money and there's a £5 yearly fee (that they take off of your cashback), but that's it really......take a look at the site and search threads on MSE as there's lots of info about quidco.MFW 2019#24 £9474.89/£11000 MFW 2018#24 £23025.41/£15000

Morning everyone
Did some catching up with the thread yesterday -I haven't been on here for ages...
Some lovely things being made :T well done everyone..lots of great ideas too
Thought I'd post a quick update on mums pressie..the x-stitch... I'm getting there... should make it in time for THIS xmas :rotfl:
and this is my 1st attempt at a blanky..after finding that I just can't get to grips with crochet :rotfl: I decided to knit squares... at the moment its about the size of a placemat :rotfl: ... so it will be a while before it grows up to be a blanky.. But its only 2 evenings work.. I sew during the day with natural light and then swap to the knitting in the evening when i don't have to see what im doing
right back off to the sewing..have a good day everyone

Hi all - my word you have been busy....................can't remember now who did what so well done all:T
Well done rainmac - congratulations - well deserved :T :T :T :T :T
Shopping trip at mums not so good...........no Poundshop/Poundland or whatever its called (well, not that I could find ) just 99p shopStill, managed to pick up a load of brown/coffee col/cream flannels (think I got a black one as well for guiness...........haven't checked yet.......lol)
Got my stuff from Colemans that I'd ordered and not much else...........
No pretty gardening gloves........all blokes ones.........massive and boring !
So, going to have to drag OH off to Lincoln (he'll not be happy) or go on my own...........don't like doing that as I get a bit disorientated with a lot of big shops - but currently need
big jars for quote/facts/journals
pretty gardening gloves (or just pretty gloves but not woollen)
cheap books to go with journal jars
and proably a host of other stuff I've forgotten........................lol
Still, was good to see Mum again............but not half glad I'm back :jMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
