don't ever feel bad for asking questions. This thread gets so cluttered because we are so happy for each other and in awe of the awesome things being made that it's hard to see how you do things but when I asked everyone was 100% seriously nice.

My blog is like my personal diary. Pinkladymel.blogspot.com on there is all my scrapbooking work for you to look at for ideas. You can get some great scrapbooking things from poundland. I go to www.ukscrappers.co.uk for ideas and help. There is so much to learn and enjoy there.

it is like my personal online diary so I was a bit wary of putting it on here but everyone who visits this thread is just so lovely so I thought stuff it :D

Thank you for all your even more lovely words. My gosh you are making me blush every day its getting ridiculous now :)

I am trying to resist crafting for christmas as it gets me really excited but I am dying to make some things.. What can I do!!

Thanks ever so much for the link to the no-sew blankets they look really good. You can't grumble really considering how cheap the fleeces are in Primark.

I went to my Ikea yesterday to find some bargains but it was packed and expensive - I couldn't believe it! Must have been everyone getting some retail therapy to soothe missing their children.. I was missing my boy thats for sure.. it was his first morning at school :(

Oh and that reminds me.. thank you SO much for saying my kids were beautiful.. That always makes me happier than anything :D

    MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE~!!

    hahah Can I put that??

    Hi all!

Been painting some more of Eddy! I'm so close to finishing it now but I had got to the point where I kept fiddling with colours etc and so I stopped before I mucked it up lol. So his skin will have to wait until tomorrow which is a bit of a pain as I've got baking to do but ho hum.
I've decided to give it to him for his birthday on Saturday so strictly speaking its not crafty for Christmas now but as I have talked about it on here I thought I would continue to. Hopefully I will get some piccies on my other half's phone (his is so much better than mine and will pick it up better) on Saturday and I will share with you all then!

Now I'm off to cut my fleece up ready to create my first no sew blanket. Also I finished the butterfly and blossom kit which I'm real pleased about because it was starting to drive me mad. I'll take some pics of it later in and out the frame and share with all. Its going to be a Christmas pressie for my boyfriend's mum.

    Gosh - what a fantastic thread!! :T

I only read the first few pages and couldn't wait to join in!! I will go back and read the rest later :D

I am a newbie here and love crafting too. I do cross stitch, cardmaking and scrapbooking. I am going to make an individual scrapbook page for my sisters and frame it :D

Before everything started going terribly downhill financially I had just started yet another hobby of making bead bracelets. I hadn't done it long and not yet got into using clasps etc, just stringing onto jewellery thread, but they are fun, quick and easy to make and no two need be the same. They would make great presents.
I can't afford to buy the beads now  and am looking for a much cheaper source, if anyone knows one. I am also thinking of trawling round charity shops and buying up strings of beads, washing them, un stringing them and using the beads and charms I already have, re stringing them with some new stuff added too.

I had never even thought of giving a box of my own hand made cards - what a fantastic idea!!!

I also trace my family history and framed charts make great presents for family

Off to read the whole thread now :T
