Sorry!!! I got a blister on my thumb from all the cutting. My OH asked what I'd been doing and I said cutting up lots of paper, he asked what for and I quickly changed the subject as one of the jars is for him
:rotfl:
I know you have a sore thumb but 3 pressies now done
Just want to say for legal reasons I accept no responsibility for sore thumbs
True, and they do look fantastic! I bought two sets of three polka dotted metal tins from Ikea, and since everything ended up being cut into different sizes I have one set of three for one "jar", two for another and one for the third. Then I tied them together with purple ribbon and made black labels (from card that formed the back cover of the first draft of my PhD - no waste going on here!). I'm really pleased with the way they turned out, and if I could bend my thumb properly it would all be wonderful!
Glad I didn't end up with a blister though, and it was really nice sitting on the sofa cutting up paper with a film on the DVD player.

Hi Maria, sounds like you have been busy! ...
Just wondered if you have any pics of your notebooks. I keep thinking about these from the children to family but have no idea what to decorate them with.Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
108 sleeps??????? Methinks not...................I'm reckoning on 108 nights of marching door hangers, jars rattling around, pickled bums rolling down the stairs, dried beans falling out of safety jars. survival kits doing their best to 'survive' and cellophane..........yards of it...........wrapped round me....................:rotfl:Mary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !

Finger puppets? Or real puppets?
Fleecey masks for their faces?
Hat with long ears attached?
Sock monkeys/monsters? If you filled them with wheat they'd be warm for bed.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
